Currently working as Engineer at Micron having 2+ yeo including internship
My current TC 17 fixed
Qualcomm offering 22 base + 16k stocks
Can anyone help me out what should I ask them as I was expecting 25+ as base.

Hey guys a master's student here . So it's finally that time of year placements have started and the first companies to arrive are the hardware companies like micron , TA etc 

So here's the question is it ok to start your career in these companies considering they are not SDE profiles ? I am aware that the highly specialised roles that these companies offer will end up becoming dead end in longer run . They are offering position only for the masters students 

How difficult would it be to transition into different core cs  companies? 

My coding skills are not that great , still grinding out leetcode ? 

Should I just end up joining these hardware companies or wait and try to crack sde positions ? (The competition is extremely high for those companies and undergrads are great coders)

I see lot of websites are selling these courses on dsa coding ninjas, scaler and when I saw yc page they accepted algouniversity(startup) that does the same thing selling DSA courses .how are they getting funds in the first place 🥱

Who is funding these edtech startups

I want to find seed stage startups to join as a founding engineer. I want to take some risk while I can and try if I can get a good return.

How should I go about this? 

I have 7 years of experience. Building distributed systems, backend services with Go, Clojure, etc. I have some frontend experience as well with SvelteKit, Tailwind, etc. I also made a SaaS product recently and got around 10 small businesses as customers on subscription. The product itself got acquired for 5 figures USD after I ran it for 2 months

How to find seed stage startups?

Take a free subscription of crunchbase. Find startups funded in the last 2 years by good funds and cancel subscription. The founders are generally easy to cold call

I have done my Masters in Solid Sate Electronic materials from IIT Roorkee and am currently working as an embedded developer. With the semiconductor boom on the way, how can I change my line of work to designing and fabrication of ICs.
