Hi I need some info regarding PhD programs done on the online format and it would be extremely helpful if any one of you can advise me here. 1) Are online PhD’s done abroad valid in India ? 2) Are online PhD’s valid abroad ? 3) Do we have any sort of programs where someone who is currently working can pursue his PhD simultaneously? 4) What are the benefits of completing a PhD for someone who’s currently working in a senior position in the banking sector. 5) What are the requirements for PhD? Full time PHD is not worth in India. Forget online. We have very small R&D investments in India. Since 1992, we have not moved out of the "cost savings" business model. With liited R&D jobs in our country, unless you are from a T1 college doing under the guidance of a T1 professor. Its absolutely not worth it.
If a PHD certificate can help in market market then its one should go. PHD is as useful as HR in a company.
