You should start by just walking. Don’t push too much too early.
Badminton. Less opinion givers there, both online and offline. Also less mirrors/instagramming culture there too. Plus you can actually have fun too!

Start with better diet first. Consult with a dietitian to get a meal plan, then join a gym for weight training and cardio. Both will help you to reduce weight. Badminton only caters to cardio which might not be the right solution for now.
Good luck on your weight loss journey

Pick what you can do for years. If you’re into badminton do that, just make sure people you play with are reliable. With gym or any classes like Yoga, the benefit over badminton is you do not need to rely on other people. It’s a solo activity and hence more sustainable for me. Do what is sustainable for you and you’ll be fine!

Swimming or basic inclined walking
Don't put too much pressure on joints, your weight goes against that.
Both, spread across various days of the week. At 26, 125kilos look on the higher side, you will side cardio + weight training to shed kilos in sustainable way.
Badminton 🏸
I have been gyming since a year. I love it. But the real fun for me is playing badminton every once in a while.

Strength training + Some cardio(Low Intensity Steady State(inclined walking)) + hitting a step goal + Proper Diet + Proper Sleep
I lost 24Kg from 122 to 98 in 14 months and I used to go to office 5 days a week.
Diet comes first. You can’t lose weight if your diet isn’t balanced and in a calorie deficit no matter how much you exercise
Skipping is the best one for weight loss bro....U can refer once SkipperSurya (youtube, insta)
If you’re just starting out, pick the one that you would find more enjoyable and easy to stick to. It’s great that you’re taking charge of your health, and incorporating physical exercise, but know that weight loss predominantly boils down to calories in vs calories out. So try and get your diet in line. Eat healthy, low processed food. Eat more protein because that keeps you satiated for longer, and try fasting if possible. Good luck!
Bhai idk if you are the same person who asked for weight loss advice few weeks back also, if you are the same person, then instead of asking people asses your situation, and get your hands dirty, you like weight training go for gym, you love playing sports, go with badminton. Doing either of these without any specific goal or intent will lead to nothing. Make your own choice.

If you focus on high intensity cardio only, you will start having muscle loss. Start going to the gym, just one hour 3 times a week and rest 3 days cardio or badminton.
Also focus on your eating habits, get into a calorie deficit diet. Nothing will work unless you change your eating habit. Cut down on a high carb high calorie diet, replace them with protein.
