Best tech companies (culture and pay wise) in India to join as a backend engineer
Hey I was put on pip in my current organisation, I am looking for a new job , but don't want to join another place where I am bound to fail. I will be some taking time in finding the next job, not in a hurry. Let me know which companies have a decent culture and also pays good. TC: 32 lpa YOE: 3
Startups like Cred, Zerodha, Razorpay have amazing work culture and are doing good work.
I have Cred has slowed down tons and Razorpay is impacted due to the merchant acquisition freeze. There are lows. Zerodha can be a good place to work, but they have stringent hiring.
Yes, merchant acquisition freeze is impacting online payments, but solid growth in offline payments, neobanking and international expansion. Very few startups have scaled well in last one year. Razorpay is diversifying well in other areas and merchant acquisition freeze will get lifted at some point.

AngelOne has PIP culture? My friend works there. He told the work us hectic but overall the culture is decent.

Overall the culture is decent but they have pip targets to meet, and they do that in every 6 months.
So this is some HR shit. But how can someone be nominated for PIP without review from manager?

Razorpay doesn't have good culture and known for not sticking to their offer terms and conditions.

Sorry to see you go through this. Can you please tell me a bit more about the PIP culture and targets at Angel One. I have joined recently and would like to get a correct view for myself.
The culture is not bad overall everyone is trying their best, but they have pip targets and you need to be in your managers good book.
