According to a report, Amazon will be terminating 10,000 jobs starting this week, which represents less than 1% of its 1.5 million global employees and around 3% of the company's corporate staff.

Super surprised about this one, but seems more due to internal attrition and bad performance by twitch moreso than overhiring correction (~500)

A Bloomberg report revealed that Amazon has conducted yet another round of layoffs. And people working in its audio streaming platform have been affected. Sources told Bloomberg that employees from Amazon Music's editorial and audio content team have been given the pink slip.

An Amazon spokesperson told Bloomberg that the company has been keeping a close eye on their "organisational needs" and has been prioritising what matters the most to customers keeping the businesses long-term health in mind. To fulfil this, some roles in the Amazon Music Team have been eliminated.
