Perplexity is decent as it supports multimodal inputs, but compared to GPT4, it seems inferior,  not to mention it cannot generate codes.  
  
 I tried asking few technical questions about Viterbi algorithm,  HMMs but it gave me wrong answers.  
 IMHO ChatGPT (4) > Perplexity

Exactly today 12th jan, 1 year back, i joined the decacorn startup as an analyst. I thought i will leave it within 8 month because i was running my own startup at that time and needed the money to run it. But as 21 year old i got stuck, i saw people of my same age earning more than me and not better than me. So i started chasing their role , the money they have. And now im stuck in this rat chase. 

Everday i go office look at people worse than me earning more and come home to study and compete with them.
But I’ve forgotten my main goal of building something. And I don’t know how to get out of this. I don’t want to waste my life in this shithole of corporate.

1) Be crystal clear on what you will build for the next year at least. Of course it will change, that's okay, but be clear on day 1 what your thought process is on why the product will work 
2) Talk to your future customers at length, understand their pain points, build personas. Think like they do.
3) Try talking to other founders or investors before you start. They can really tell you some very important things that you may miss out on, starting out
4) Make sure you start it with someone. And that person is as committed, you know them at least for a few years, and you have unique skills that complement each other

I hope you will consider this. I am 1.5 years into my journey and realize some fundamental mistakes I made that have costed me. I don't want you to make the same ones.

Before starting up, please do this:

I've turned 27, roughly 3yoe earning 50k which is low but I'm upskilling. Currently due to layoffs, AI news and just a very unhealthy state of IT things are getting very depressing and I personally feel like I've already lost or missed in life. 
People are planning to get married around me everything is so sudden. 

People of grapevine, what advice would you want to give people like me who feel lost. 
Any general advice such as financial planning, lifestyle changes or just tech advice any advice which has helped you to live peacefully and comfortably would be greatly appreciated.

Advice : Please stop with the tutorial and enrolling in courses after course. Doesn't take you anywhere. Been there and done that.  
  
 You will end up with stupid clones which does seem like a value add in your resume. It's just there in everyone's resume.  
  
 Build one project, one solid project, maybe something to do with MFE. Not CRA react app but something with webpack if you prefer. Maybe a ecom app with seperate mfe for order and billing. Show the interaction between them, post on Twitter while you build. Share insights and maybe you will end up being in a recruiter's eye.

tools which provide pre-built components that can be quickly assembled, saving development time. Goal is to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time for delivering project

Low code no code suggestions

I’ve had this idea for a SaaS since the last 2 years and I’ve been passively trying to build it into existence but no luck. I tried pitching the idea to few VCs and mentors, all of them seemed to validate it for potential. But again, these are people I know personally and unless they have their skin in the game, can’t take their praises to anything tangible in the absence of constructive criticism. Same case with friends who I talk to - everyone likes the idea, but doesn’t want to build it. The idea doesn’t seem interesting enough for them to consider building it even as a side project. Mostly I believe this is because the product targets an industry where there’s sufficient tech involved - yet very less techies who are building for the space. I’ve personally had experience tinkering with development, but haven’t built anything tangible to fruition ever from scratch. This idea has been around my whiteboard for over 2 years - seems like a super obvious idea for a much needed demand. Back then I thought someone would build it before me and kept seeking professionals for help, especially with no-code and AI code tools. Yet, nobody has seemed to move a needle and the space is largely under one monopoly (startup). I want to take it up as a challenge and build it on my own as a side project and see where it goes. Maybe if nobody has built it in 2 years, nobody probably will in the next year either. That’s good enough time for me to acquire my initial set of users. I badly want to build it bootstrapped, but I know that’s a far fetched dream especially given my lack of technical expertise. Hopefully within 6 months, I should have an MVP - that might attract potential cofounders or investors. Wish me luck, folks! 🤞🏽
