30% of engineers will be gone. 50% of higher managenment will be gone. List contains a total of 80 devs/managers/directors/Vp/CTO from Tech team, reducing the Tech Team size to merely 130. How does byjus justify their valuation, when there is no value ?

Had huge hope from these 2 entrepreneurs but they failed Indian EdTech ecosystem.
Next time any Indian entrepreneur will think to start in EdTech then VCs n angel will think 3rice

The only good thing to come from byjus is the destruction of the edtech industry. But it's not over yet. Any soft landing will only motivate the next set of VCs who will enter hoping to correct the mistakes done by the existing players.
The fall needs to be spectacular,like satyam. Belly up, and it should take a few nbfc who loaned money to the connected participants.

Good, Indian edtech should fail. They are just sping business, not education. Education should never be commercialised.
we can't sacrifice education of millions of Indians for sake of making few people rich.

yes, no ones teaches anything whatsoever. Everyone is just doing exam prep, and they call it education.
preparing for job exams isn't education, whether this is govt. exam or company interview.
Everyone has same attitude regardless of where they reach. Their attitude is just rote learning and memorisation, thats why from very first year student try to rote learn DSA, do some python & c++ and they expect jobs 😂
No wonder india doesn't have any substantial technology company, and have shitty work culture (everywhere from home, schools, govt. office, society to companies).
This is a massive problem which just didn't occur out of nowhere, it always existed unvisible among us.
take patriarchy, lack of scientific temperament.
our problem is our people.
