I have Angular, DotNet, SAP cloud etc major experience in Startup as well as MNC. but still getting paid below 5LPA.
I want to switch but past 1 year , it's getting demotivating feeling.
I am unable to switch despite of leetcode, code chef etc.
If you resume is not getting shortlisted, you need to write a lot of lies in your resume and back them pretty heavily with your knowledge. I do it all the time :)
Finding job is not easy, and dont listen to people who tell you not to lie on your resume. Its a necessity and everybody does that

The first switch is the hardest by far. You also have low experience and market is just not that great right now. Don’t feel dejected. Keep learning and work hard. Once you make your first switch every subsequent ones will be easier.

It’s cyclical— I am expecting a better half of this year we will see sub optimal market conditions. This doesn’t necessarily mean that opportunities are not there — it’s just fewer. Folks in 4-6 exp ranges in engineering are getting opportunities. Nevertheless I would recommend you to for now focus on doing well at current job and prepare for interviews. The idea is the more prepared you are irrespective of interviews are lined up or not , the moment one comes up you will be ready. Don’t wait to prepare for interviews when you get a call.
