My brother has done his MCA in the year 2017 and post that he didn't join any campus due to family business and during covid when our business was at its lowest time he decided to explore outside hence joined Adani groups as a product supervisor and currently working with Emami agrotech as a warehouse incharge... 

But now he want to make a career switch to software Field... Can anyone suggest what does he need to do to make so happen? What steps should he take next to enhance his career prospects? I've been working since the last 1.5 years as a customer service & operations analyst ( similar to process analyst/ operations analyst etc. ) in Retail Banking Ops and would like to upskill and switch to better roles ( where productivity and performance is not quantitative but qualitative as well).

My target roles/job profiles are those where BAU is not confined strictly to copy paste tasks but stimulates intellect. 

Would appreciate suggestions/certifications / courses which will make my resume strong { strong enough to apply in mid-career roles in investment banks( for example JP Morgan), AMCs (BlackRock), audit firms (KPMG), financial services ( AmEx), banks with GCCs in India ( NAB ) }

One of my college friends (2021 batch) had joined Accenture from college placements.She got trained in salesforce.

But since last 2 years she has been in and out of many projects due to some or the other reason and spent time mostly on bench because of which she does not have much project experience.

Now she is fed up of this and wants to switch and change the tech stack also.

So I told her to start studying java and spring boot so that she can get into backend roles.She is also studying data structures side by side.
