CleverTap reviews ?
Anyone here or has worked in CleverTap . Know if few people who gave me bad reviews, like the full product team with CPO left in one year during pandemic and lot of senior engineering folks left as well. Recently saw the CEO left too . Any reviews

I used to worked there in the product team. Here is my take:
It's a company that is on its way down. CEO was Sunil Thomas then, who is now chairman and a wannabe influencer. That person cannot take contrary opinions.
They hired a head of product and then a CPO Vishal Anand, then fired the head of product in layoff and the. Cpo left within 1 year of his joining. Most folks left post that.
Now one of the cofounders is acting as CPO, without any tech or product background. The CTO Suresh konamudi is a big time egomaniac, although soft spoken and knowledgeable.
The company runs on worship culture mostly. Roadmaps are given to product from top down. Product managers are only to take the blame for failures. Design head has no opinion of her own and says whatever Sunil (used to) tell her.
Basically a bunch of folks trying to build product by copy pasting features from moengage and still doing terrible jobs at it.

i recently left. as a software engineer i didn't faced any problems apart from the fact that they recently declared that they will be doing hybrid/wfo in future and would require Mumbai relocation. i panicked and resigned but they aren't still making wfo mandatory, so still a good thing.
i came from a b2c company background and there work was a breeze for me. i could complete my tasks in 2 days and enjoy the whole sprint either relaxing or picking up POC tasks. the vacation policy is also quite good and my team mates were also nice people. their hike is also good, i got an almost 30% hike even though i was in my notice period.
overall i would recommend the company to anyone who is comfortable working from Mumbai. they hire interns from DTU and tier 1/2 Colleges, but for full time roles , you can be from any background , and they will hire based on skillset. i am from an unknown college of IP University and was working as a prominent engineer in SDK team. even suresh and anand knew me and my work which felt good.
compared to that my current company is in my hometown, exponentially bigger than CT but yet have more crappy policies.
I used to worked there. HRs over there are totally useless. Lots of politics they treat everyone based on their college level and there is massive difference in salary based on just college.
JUST DONT JOIN IT. You will regret it
For tech role interview in past, I was asked puzzles. Lol, so I steer clear.

Remember there being some good buzz when the product was launched, and was an interesting idea too
