Coaching plan in Amazon or quitting Amazon
My ex team lead is trying to put me into coaching plan to save his own job. I know this coaching plan will lead to termination in 3 months. What is better for me to accept the CP or to submit resignation. I do have savings to last me 1 year without any job
Coaching plan has certain demerit in Amazon it gets recorded permanently and in future your chances of getting rehired takes a hit
If the only impact of a CP is an impact on rehireability, I wouldn’t quit. It’s a tough market and those 3 months are an opportunity for you to get out there and find better, alternative work.
If you’re unemployed, savings or not, you’ll be much more prone to hasty, rash decisions.
Just to have the chance of being rehired in future again, you want to resign abruptly (without any severance pay I guess). Very dangerous stance, not that I am anyone to advice you.

Do you have any demerit if you opt for Coaching plan? If not then Take coaching plan and continue looking out as well. Atleast you will have 3 months time and salary. Simply resign won't have this opportunity.
Don’t resign, rehiring chances are anyways gone and infact I am not sure if you want to work at amazon again. Best would be to buy time and still keep looking out for jobs.
Exposing team lead and all is stupidity, nothing will yield you any benefits.

One of my friends had to go through this.
Although the market was different.
So he resigned and took the severance, prepared and cracked Microsoft.
The reason for his decision was, in pip pressure is so high, you wouldn't get time to prepare and you'll be micro-judged.
IDK if this helps but one such situation.
Sounds like PIP. Mostly people resign in such situation if there’s some payout. Not sure tho. Take a call based on what’s less mentally stressful maybe
