Envy is a real problem Our people have an unnecessary habit of extrapolating things. If your manager/co worker thinks you are happy, you will see it's effect soon.
In the corporate world it pays to be sad all the time. Why do think ceos always keep screaming danger, they keep saying things like how "things are going to be tough", " slowdown is real", etc...
Don't stop upskilling, reading up about your craft, learning from external sources. No matter how comfortable you get in your current role.
You got this far because of your openness to learn, do not let go of it, because it will catch up in a few years.
Trying to get back to reading up : )

- Be kind to other people at the workplace. None of this matters in the grand scheme of things. That "As we had previously discussed" helps no one.
It helps to make them feel a little bad for not doing homework before joining the meeting.
I had to give the same KT 4 times to a team because they can’t remember past conversations.
You are easily replaceable. Even Sam Altman got replaced. So dont worry about the company, worry about yourself and your personal goals

This post was started in good faith, then got taken over by managerloverbois. "Share your ideas in the meeting don't be scared of AVP" My foot....you think you are creating a eureka moment? Shut up and dont extend the meeting, everyone else got real work to do.
12. Communicate what you have done explicitly and don’t expect your manager to know it on his/her own
13. If you are going above and beyond for something, let people know. It sounds weird and feels wrong but unless you let people know, you don’t get the rewards for it.
4. Document every communication with products related to story on its jira
5. Make your boss life easier

Just put your head down, do your work, take the salary n go home. Don't get involved in ofc politics rather observe it from a bird's eye view

- Maintain a good relation with your HRs they can do wonders when it comes to early release/not serving notice period
- During meetings If you’ve any ideas/suggestions then speak out, don’t hesitate just because your VPs or Directors are in that meeting too
HRs are primarily responsible for lying to employees on most matters.
1) Never trust anything said & done at face value. Always ask 'Why'.
2) Office colleagues are not friends.

Don't report anything even if it's bad
Haft of the people are sheeps
And lick your Manager
If you don't you will be first to be out
HR doesn't care reality
Then can tolerate one toxic manager even if 80+ people left the project

So true... Just one correction. HR doesn't tolerate shit. They cannot do anything. Toxic or not they have no role to play. They just have to parrot the business team decision. Their decision making rights are limited to the kind of rangoli at the front office and the flavour of phenyl for the toilet.
# No hookup where you v-lookup.
# Make sure that your contribution and efforts are known to the senior management, it might happen that you will rely on your manager and he/she might be just a chaaploos of senior management and will not fight for you maybe for hike/promotion.
# if you are very sincere with your work and are getting recognised for it, there are people who might want you to leave so they will somehow try to convince you why this company is not for you.
Be aware of all these asslickers.
1. Never show too much loyalty to the company.
2. Some office colleagues arent friends.
3. Retire as soon as possible with huge amount. Better to be the head of a dog rather than being the tail of a tiger !!!
4. Put self respect above everything and the aukaat to leave the workplace at slightest disrespect !!!
