Credit card recommendations
Hi folks, I’m planning to get a new credit card. I have the ICICI Amazon Pay card at the moment and use it for all my expenses except rent, but not happy with the benefits I’m getting from it. I’m doing some research to figure out what card I should get. What card do you have that you think i should consider?

this is excellent and super helpful, thanks v much for sharing
Where all do you spend money?
Do you fly domestic often? Which sector?(Atleast twice an year)
What kind of rewards do you value more? Cashbacks? Or reward points which you can redeem for hotel stays or flights?
most of my expenses are restaurants (3-4 times a month; 1-3k per meal), groceries from instamart (once per week).
i travel domestic 5-6 times a year - to chennai and bangalore
don’t have a strong pref between types of rewards. at the moment i only get a tiny amount of amazon pay credits, so anything better than that is great

Sbi vistara for rent. Vistara cards are best for rent and you can collect points as well.

You could use Eazydiner indusind credit card for restaurant spends.
If you are from a top tier college which I believe you are, you can simply apply for Icici Sapphiro credit card whose fees is 9k but if you are from a selected list of college which is like around 100 colleges, you can get it for lifetime free. I am from MIT Manipal and got it for free. I have all 3 variants of it Visa, Mastercard, Amex.
Also you could try Amex Gold charge card.

Go for diners black.
It's the best card out there.
I've been using an Amex MRCC credit card for most of my spending which is around ₹20k in most of the months. You can redeem their point to airlines miles, gift vouchers etc at a very good rate. Feel free to reach out on WhatsApp to know more details regarding it: 9911626956. You can use my referral and get it first year free as well so that's also an added bonus. And till then you can use it to understand if it's the card for you or not :)
There are enough posts already here, check those. A simple search would help
You get a credit card based on your eligibility and bank discretion not based on your choice. Amazon pay is an entry level card.
