how is the current job market for ML Engineer and data analysts. As far as I have seen there is not much hiring going on. Pay is very very less for everyone not only AI domain .Are the companies knowingly not hiring people and trying to run lean??
Yeah the market is shit,I still heard that some of them are getting calls. I am an ML engineer with 2.5 yoe I get calls from service based companies.Ideally I am looking to crack product based companies.
You need to be good at DSA + ML&DL. To a point where you should know how to code dynamic programming,graph questions and log reg from scratch using numpy. One of my friends was asked to code self-attention from scratch(transformers )in the interview.
The point is if you want to get into a good product based companies . The bar has increased a lot. Good luck
