Demotivated after a poor hike
In my early 20s, broke my ass for a year trying to prove myself in a field I am new to. Outcome was outsized, I did + achieved exactly what I was hired for and more. Worked extra hours with no complaints only to get a 9% hike. Tried talking to the founder, he doesn't see value in what I've done so far but admits that I've bought in the numbers. And he wants me to take up more work on top of this but all my drive has been sucked away, very demotivated to do anything. Would appreciate any help to get out of this mindset.

I put my papers, and first reaction - If it is about compensation, we can discuss

Company kisi ki sagi nahi hoti. Jitni jaldi yeh baat samjhoge, utna khush rahoge
If this company is not able to see your worth, switch to another company where you get what is your worth. As simple as that.
