Seeking career advice

Its been 3 months since I left my last company after completing 8 months of internship, I rejected the full time offer because I was exploited and work culture was very toxic, since then I applied to more than 100+ jobs online and hardly converted 5 interviews and got 1 offer for part time which is soon going to be revoked, assuming from the company's behaviour. At this point I have lost all the motivation to work, improve and apply for jobs I am tired and drowing in self doubt. It even kills me to see the people who are not skilled as I am are getting good jobs and salary. With all this my family is not so supportive and not a single day has passed where I didn't get into arguments with my parents.

Hi am developer of having 6 years of exp 3 years - starup in Koramangala 2 years - unicorn in banglore 1 years 6 months - servicebased mnc in Hyderabad ( present I have assigned to client but not getting anynwork from 6 months. Been practicing leetcode but losing motivation in middle . My tech stack is python django What are the skills I need to do focus on now . Feeling low.

I am a senior software engineer with 6 + yoe mainly into backend (java and golang tech stack). I am currently serving my notice period with no offer in hand.(my last day is April 30) I have applied and given interviews to almost 12 companies and failed after clearing 2 or 3 rounds. I feel that I am losing confidence in my skills when I face such rejection even though I shouldn't. I feel like whatever answer I give during interviews is wrong and I constantly try to lookup the internet in the middle of interviews in fear of getting rejected. Even though I know things very well I try to validate it and then mug up whatever is written on the internet and whenever a new question is asked which I haven't seen earlier where I would be required to think , i blank out. This has never happened to me earlier.. I need some advice on how do I keep confidence in my skill and start solving things on my own.

I am planning to shut down my IT services company after 5 years of operations. The journey has been bitter-sweet but it is becoming unsustainable and putting me under a great amount of duress. I have been a trained ML engineer but since my startup have gone on to taking up mostly non-programming roles/ work. I have tried getting back to development role but have not been able to get back in the same stride as I used to. Lately, I’ve been picking up some consulting work as a Software Architect. Basis, that info, need some advice on how I can plan my professional journey ahead.

Hi I have relevant experience in a software application however I wanted to upgrade myself with a latest application as many others in my team. I phased up a lot of wait time and finally a no and have to forcefully leave the company now. I lost all my confidence and in a dilemma now of where and how can I pickup to crack a job and start performing. I had no career or educational gap Please Can anyone advise me

I am currently working as a senior engineer at a startup (yoe 6+). Initially things were good , but from the last few months The workplace turned toxic and all the nasty things started happening around me. The burn out was deteriorating mental and physical health, so i lost my patience and resigned. Making this ama , so that I can help someone who is going through the same situation.

I am thinking of leaving my current job and focus on myself, getting to know myself better etc. Currently I have enough money saved for my expenses for next 6-8 months. Everyone I have asked about this say don't leave your job if you don't have another lined up, in this tech winter. I understand their view point. It aligns with what my parents think as well. Is there anyone who has had done this in the past? Do you recommend this route? Are the consequences far too severe? Does anyone have a different opinion from one stated above?

Hello everyone, Requesting honest opinion based on my profile: - Did Btech and Mtech from IIT Delhi - Worked with a management consultancy firm for 2 years - Worked with a B2B mid stage startup as strategy and ops manager for 1 year - Worked with a year stage B2B startup as founding team member lead product and supply for 8 months Have been on a career break since Nov'23. Early days were very romantic I was enjoying my free time. But it has been very difficult lately without any direction for future. What should be my goal? And a short term plan for next 6 months?

Has anyone faced something like this before? How did you come out of it?
