Did your company try to retain you once you resigned, what exactly happened after that?

Today I was asked by Hr to resign, with 60 days notice period. What shall I do to save myself from further exploitation by the firm. Also, if I resign might have to give back my joining bonus as I have completed 11 months

Looking for genuine and non diplomatic answers since it will be anonymous. It is upto you to reveal the name of the company you resigned from. Lets discuss!!! I will go first - I quit my last organisation (a famous UPI company) in 2020 because, they still are in old technology. No cloud computing, no kubernates, no terraform. Their entire baremetal infra are in 2 DCs (Mumbai and Bangalore). Leadership ideas are outdated. I was very much bored and looking for a change.

Hey there. Recently I got terminated from a big company due to performance issues according to them but I don't agree with them as I know what effort i have put in and what works I did there. If an interviewer ask a reason for leaving your last job, what should I say there?

My employment was terminated last month from the organization’s side but they have put things like “his performance was average” & “he left the organization in his own accord” in the relieving cum experience letter. I am not much worried about the performance part because I have good experience letters from my past organizations and believe would be the same in case of reference checks. Should I be worried about these? Any suggestions on how to move forward with future applications would be helpful.

Hi guys, I wanted an advice from you as I am in a confused state. I have got an offer for a leading company with a significant pay raise. However, now at the end of my notice period my current employer is ready to give me a pay raise and match the offer. What should I do? I have been stagnant when it comes to growth in my current organization and whatever Upskilling I have seen is through my after office hours study. I am confused as to what should I do!? Going through something similar where the management has laid off 1/3rd the total team via forced resignation and without any severance. A bunch of folks who stood up to ask for reasons, severance etc are being threatened with termination and bad experience letter (and even lawsuits) Could really use your take if you or your colleagues have gone through something similar.

Hi. I received a termination letter from my past company. The reason was, I sent my resignation letter from home and responded only when they reached out. I know I am at fault. Should have sent resignation from office itself. But their punishment seems very harsh. I didn't get a chance to explain myself. Wherever I am applying for jobs, getting turned down as I do not have experience letter and relieving letter. Having a termination letter seems to be equal to having a criminal record. I tried requesting my ex company, but seems they have forgotten my existence, and talked in a rude manner. Day by day I am losing confidence. Trying my hand at freelancing also, but it would be like starting from zero. How can I repair my situation. Advice pls. PS: Humble request to all, no trolling please. I quit Deloitte after 4 years of excruciating pain. Here's why? The concept of bench will literally kill your confidence the most. If you know how to beg then you will succeed here because if you don't beg for projects then they will definitely lay you off. I was always a bright student in college and chose Deloitte because of the brand name but if I had known that once I was hired, I would still have to find jobs every day, I would have never joined this hell. This is utterly ridiculous. I have now joined an early stage startup which has been the best decision of my life. Deloitte is literally the worst company ever. There were a couple of seniors who used to say the most hurtful shit to me whenever I used to go to the washroom. These Indian seniors always harass freshers while the American teams are usually much nicer and respectful. Don't throw your youth away in the name of earning a few bucks.
