Edit Offer Letters

I was thinking since people send offer letters by hiding some information can we edit the compensation ourselves and ask for better compensation. Although i know this is not right but just curious how HRs validate whether its valid one or edited one?

Go ahead and send only screenshot not entire offer letter, if they ask to send tell them it is confidential and it’ll be unethical.
