Just apply in  gruha hasti or something scheme in electricity board u will get 100 units avg free.eveb if u r a tenant u can apply. I did and I pay only 120 inr for 1000 units.

This the moment I actually experienced the value of freebies. No wonder everybody is looking for something free. It's pure bliss at the time of such huge inflation.

Owner already benifitting for other flat, can I apply if am not domiciled here...

it’s not really 10/unit. it clearly says 4.75. the 330 fixed is because of your 3KW machine. if you had a 2KW that would’ve been 220, and 440 for a 4KW machine.

How much electricity bill do you pay?

I live in a 3-story building. There are 4 houses, i.e., GF, FF, SF, and TF. There is a meter for common electricity usage. For water pump and lights in stairways. 

The owner has linked his aadhar card to this common meter in the Gruha Jyoti scheme. Now the total bill is 614 rs. After applying the scheme, the remaining amount to be paid is 63. The 551 rs that was waived off is actually due to scheme, and no one paid for it. 

I have divided the 63 rs among 11 people who are living and using this common meter, and I have shared the particulars. Now, the owner asks me to divide the whole 614 rs among us and pay him the amount instead. 

I find this totally unfair because the due was 63rs, which actually went towards the payment, not the 551rs. No one paid for it. Just because he linked his aadhar card to the meter, he is expecting us to give him that amount. 

How fair is that? What are your thoughts?

Seems like since last year the focus of government has shifted from actually making beneficial policies to enable innovation and growth of India to just collecting taxes blindly. 

They just want to harvest tax in as many ways possible and kill the middle class person.

First it was crypto. 

Then us salaried individuals started receiving notices. 

Then they levied 28% GST on online gaming. 

Now they are also checking proofs for HRA allowance and other stupid stuff which wasn't done before. 

I was wondering why there is a sudden increase in such incidents? Is the government hiding something? Are they running out of money?

Or are they just smoking weed just like us and making stupid rules?

This government’s primary intention is to collect more and more taxes in whatever mean’s possible. They don’t give a f**k about anything. And then will brag every month/quarter about record GST collection! This government is pathetic to say the least! No accountability and arrogance is at its peak. We have come to a point where we can’t even question the government otherwise you will be termed as anti national.

GV is such an amazing community of super smart people. I hope this will be of help in my professional career. 
In selling generally you highlight the most important things first. This is not an attempt to sell but to build a long term relationship. Hence more of a story telling approach. Please excuse if you find this uncomfortable. 

Let's start. 
A little about me: sharp guy, with intellect and amazing pedigree, 6yrs exp. Great in strategy, business operations, finance. Trying to learn tech since last 4 yrs. 
Personally, hard to work with in a team, not a people pleaser but committed and loyal. Girls please excuse (find it more comfortable working with guys, not trying to discriminate just my preference)

Okay so what i have done. Actions speak larger than words.
Over the last 4 yrs I have developed deep understanding of tech world. I believe tech can be a great enabler in transformation of every business process today. So much that i am in an IT department today. i have built understanding of the high level systems, architecture, models, algos etc. But I can code properly. I am very bad at it. 

So what i want to do now. 
There are bunch of ideas that i want to try and build. But just stuck because i don't have the full stack development skills. I have made peace with coding inability because i can be good at every skill. 
Sharing these ideas openly for folks to copy and build. Ideas are just 10% of the work done and probably none novel but i still want to build for various reasons. In most cases, I am not looking to make money or business to build but more to transform current processes.
Eg. Real estate - why is there no portal where tenants/buyers can rate landlords/sellers and provide feedback about them. Bom and blr is such a hot market. Brokerage is an unorganised market which nobroker is trying to solve.
Energy - 24hrs electricity cost is 5-6rs as per government tenders but industries buy it at 10-12/unit. Rest in comments.

Hey,

I just did a jio prepaid recharge of 749 on GPay and was charged 3 rupees convenience fee. I did not know that GPay charges convenience fee, So I just wanted to let everyone know.

I have done some testing and it looks like the convenience fees are like this:

For recharge amounts of 1 to 100, there is no convenience fee, 

For recharge of 101 to 200 it's 1 rupee convenience fee, 

For 201 to 300 it's 2 rupees,

and for 301 and above, the maximum convenience fee is 3 rupees.

I’m a 2023 graduate working as a SDE in a Product Based Company In Bangalore. My CTC is 8LPA around 55k hits my bank account. In next 5 months I’ll have 1 yr of experience. I want to switch after 5 months (After Hike) to a Product Based Company in Delhi NCR. Which companies to target? Also how much CTC should I expect? 

Why Delhi NCR? My family lives here and I constantly feel I’m missing out on quality time with the people I love so I wanna move back.

PS: I’m thinking not to go for a CTC below 10LPA

4. Travel - 3k (worst scenario, home to office - Rs 100, 3 days a week - 600/week) 
5.Groceriess - 2K (Not sure because in a PG but considering it) 
6. Internet - 1K 
7. Lifestyle/Misc - 10K  (I don't party much, most of this will spent in misc and exploring Mumbai etc)
Total - 41K 

Savings - 39K/40K
1. 25K in savings bank account (i need to have this because I'm scared of emergency stuff) 
2. 5K MF
3. 5K PPF
4. 4K/5K - sending home
