Given markets are at an all time high, what are some good stocks still undervalued and can give great returns?

Good stocks for 2024

Came across a few posts on Twitter suggesting that if the gains are less than 1 lakh, it might be better to sell right now and buy later. I have just started a while back and have around 15L invested. Was looking towards the long term horizon and staying invested but since my gains till now are less than 1 lakh, would it be better to sell right now and buy again at relatively balanced valuations?

Where should I invest in the current market scenario? It may sound naive but I want suggestions for the stocks.

As of now I'm invested heavily in the railway sector for the short term because of the election hype (would eventually decrease my holding after the exit poll results)

But for safety where should I invest now(promising small caps)? I'm a student so I have a fixed budget of 1 lakh to invest rn.

Where to Invest in the current market scenario?

Looking for suggestions on where to invest and what are the best options in that category

For example, Canara Robeco Bluechip Fund for equity investments

Looking for suggestions on Mutual Funds, Bonds, PPF, EPF, FD, or any other types of investments paying off right now

Investment diversification

- Central Banks have almost achieved their objective of controlling inflation through tightened monetary policy. Though the CPI is inching lower,  asset inflation is resurfacing through stock prices and real estate. 
- Many listed companies that came out with the quarterly numbers are nothing good to talk about. Growth and profits are subdued and for small and mid caps the numbers are decimated but the stocks are still trading at a historical premium. 
- Analysts will once again start downgrading the earnings forecast and that will start the downward momentum. Once again people will undergo the "Flight to Quality" effect. 
- No of Bankruptcies is steadily increasing 
- No of Job openings are trending lower
- Most of the US listed firms that have borrowed at a lower interest rate in 2021 are coming up for renewals this year. By the time they refinance, they will be doing it at a higher interest rate which will impact their PAT as a result their EPS estimates will take a biting. 
- Gold looks attractive from a market cycle standpoint. 

My Recommendation: 
- Have an emergency fund for at least 6 to 9 months to cover your expenses. 
- Exit overvalued small and microcaps stocks. Move to a reasonably valued large cap.
- Have health insurance for you and your dependents. 
- Move out of small cap mutual funds and have some allocation to debt funds.

Hey folks, I was checking my portfolio recently and with the slight market correction happening over the course of the month, I am confused about selling some of my stocks, I wanted to know how to go about it?

Background: I am a 24 yo and have been investing since 2020, have made good profit across but with some stocks been super lucky (300-400%) although the absolute number is in thousands only. I don't have any requirement of money and can hold all of them for a very long period.

When to sell a stock?

Are we buying more or getting out before it goes bust?

[NIFTY50] Is this the end?

Please suggest some short-term (6Months - 1 Year) investment options, other than FD with good returns.

Hi guys, 
I have around 4L cash lying around which I wanted to invest. Currently, I think I am in a position to take maximum risks, and see where things go. I also haven’t redeemed the 1.5L tax deduction on Section 80c so PPF and ELSS are open as an investment opportunity. 

I was worried to invest in the current equity markets. Have just put in around 6.5L into Equities in December (Split equally amongst Large, Mid, Small and Flexi Cap) 

Needed advice on which seems a better option:
- Put 1.5L in PPF and the rest in Large Cap MFs since Large Caps haven’t peaked yet
- Distribute the 4L over the next year (~33k/month) and invest it in a SIP to account for market changes
- Put the entire amount into equities (1.5L ELSS, 2.5L Large Caps)

Also, needed advice if it’s better to look for a Real Estate or SGBs Investment to diversify risk? (<25 yo right now so can take a property around 40-50L to test the waters)

What are your views on the current market? I’m planning to continue investing a significant chunk (~50% salary) into SIPs all through. Should I reconsider?
