Would suggest you to do your own research on these things. Everyone’s risk capacity and amount to invest would be different.

I’m currently sticking to these -
Index Funds
Mid Cap
Small Cap
ELSS
Multi Cap

Not suggesting the funds as the best today may not be best in the 6 months. Some minor fluctuations happen.

Any specific questions do you have? I'm an NISM certified and AMFI registered mutual fund distributor.

Fund selection depends on horizon, goals, risk appetite. Chose Small Cap only if it is 10 year +. Small/mid cap are very unpredictable. You can chose flexi cap instead. Flexi cap if 7 year. Prefer FD for emergency fund instead of debt funds. Diversify at asset level (equity, debt) instead of using Balanced funds.

EPF, SSY, PPF are good under debt.
