Expected salary for Manual Tester with 7 yoe
I have 7 years of experience in manual testing and have been leading a team for 3 years now. How much salary should I expect if I switch? I'm currently at 14 lpa.
Switch only if you get base pay of 18-20 lpa.
Most of the time don't mention your salary First to your hiring HR.
LET THEM DECIDE AND GIVE YOU THE RANGE.
MONKEY TALK. YOU FIRST YOU FIRST KIND OF SITUATION ๐
Thank you for your answer.
I'm expecting 15% hike in the ongoing appraisal which would make my CTC close to 16. Should I keep the expected range the same as 18-20 or should I increase it?
Also, HRs start the conversation with expected CTC. How to make them come to the discussion where they give you their range for the role?
Research on the current market for the particular role. Say them like:
"I have gone through some websites and I have seen the range as 20-24 lpa for the same role. Is that correct?" They will ask you which website you visited? Don't mention the website names.
Be diplomatic. In each sentence be diplomatic.
