What bonus % n what increment % for average performer for FY23-24?

It is my first full time job as a Software Engineer (DevOps) in a Bangalore based startup in FinTech domain. How the appraisal process works and how I can be prepared to secure the best. Any insights would definitely help 🙏🏻

Hi All, I joined Deloitte in Nov,2023. During my joining i negotiated with the HR regarding the increment of my base pay as it was too less. HR gave me two options, 1. Either take a joining bonus of 50k with the same package, 2. Or be eligible for the next appraisal cycle i.e. april 2024. I wondered if my efforts in the project will be recognised or not by the end of april. So i choose to take the joining bonus with the same package. The HR has left the firm and i am not sure whom to ask and approach regarding the appraisal query. Will i still be ineligible for an appraisal of even 5-10% this year?

Does the appraisal happen on the fixed salary or the ctc?

How's the pay for analysts in banks like Citi, HSBC, IDFC etc? My "assumption" is they have a better work life balance compared to start-ups (I work in one - CTC being 28lpa - almost 4 YOE). Why am I asking? Looking at how things are going on at BLR, I'm planning to someday switch to company with work from home and better work life balance.

What is the expected increment/variable pay this year across big4- Assurance dept.

I’m a software engineer at a mid size company. I have 1y3mo of work ex. Appraisals are around the corner, and although the work is great, the pay not so much. I earn less than 10LPA. How much of a hike should I deserve in this market assuming I have done a good job.
