I'm from tier 2-3 collage , got an internship in Chennai. P.s. i m from north india so huge culture gap and Language barrier. 
I was selected for the job role of data science engineer . but they have put me in SDE.
I have a good dsa skills, with enough experience in development in web and Multiple projects in AI/ML . They haven't considered my profile before assigning me to a team, no sh*t i want to switch this company asap. and in some other city like bangalore.. or Gurgaon. But as far as I can see.. there are no responses from the company i m applying to which is understandable. It is kind of implied that i have to spend at least a year before getting another job. 

Is there anyone who can suggest some ways to get me any Interview?

Hi everyone , i am currently working as 1yr exp dev working in startup which recently had taken series of layoffs . Though i am saved i now am trying my best to switch but sadly not getting response. Please suggest few strategies. I have already tried commons ones like cold mails , linkedin , naukri , insta hyre, recruiting agenices etc. . I apply a lot but dont recieve any response. Please suggest some ways

Need help on job switch from senior employees

Hello I'm 22F a 4th year student from a tier 3 college. I got placed on campus in a very small scale startup for 6.5 lpa but the internship period was of 9 months at 15k per month in blr. Now they have announced that they won't be giving PPO to us. My internship is ending in March 2024 before that I need to get into a new job. But all the openings are low paying i.e. 3 or 4lpa jobs and I'm in doubt with my DSA skills. I need someone who can mentor me on this path. I've worked on mostly Java, Springboot, Automation testing and C++. 
How should I prepare along with my internship in this 2 months?

I am working as SDE 2 in Amazon, doing well for now, getting good work however i always have this feeling that one day i may end up losing job due to layoff or anything else and the thing is that in such a scenario i am not at all prepared for job change.
I never liked doing DSA or you can say i was never good at it. I did just enough to get an internship at Amazon and then got converted to full time and from there i never touched DSA again.

My question is how to get over this insecurity?

I am working remotely at a SaaS company for 4+ years now. I started working since my final year of engineering. I joined here as a software engineering intern when the product was really new and booming. I have gotten bored of my work now, especially since I have been working from home all the time. I have very little social life. And I am getting fixed salary of about $1400 each month. I am thinking of switching to any Indian startup because I am not happy with my job being so monotonous and less pay at this level of experience. What should be the approach to crack the interviews? I have done DSA practice during my college days, but didn't crack any interviews with it. I am a full stack web developer but it doesn't excite me anymore and I want to stick to backend roles. And is it possible to crack an interview with for 30-40 LPA at this stage? Or do I have to climb up a salary ladder for a couple of years?

Switching to Indian startups job

Currently I am working as an SDE - 1(8 base) in gurugram, I received an offer for an automation engineer role from Sprinklr (16.5 base). I am 2023 grad from IIIT and have a good knowledge of DSA and System Design. Some days back I received an SDE-1 offer from a Singapore stealth startup(13 base) but couldn't join them. Now I have this offer, I am still looking to switch to SDE-1 position, but due to the market situation not getting enough interview calls. So is it advisable to join an automation role and look for the SDE roles in parallel? since I believe that sprinklr tag will help me in getting the opportunities but I don't know whether my resume will be shortlisted for the SDE roles if I have an automation role in my resume. Please give your honest opinion and help me to make the decision..

Is it good to switch to an automation role from SDE?

I am a 2024 grad. I got to know that my org has 3 month notice period. I have talked with 2-3 seniors, I got to know that they don't let go before 3 months and don't offer buy out. The CTC is not that good also (8.3 LPA).

My background - new IIT CSE, 500+ question on leetcode, knight in leetcode, specialist in codeforces, have projects in go backend, intership in spring boot, sql tech stack. Had to take this offer as I didn't cheat in on campus placement and less companies were visiting my campus. 

My job location is in Chennai, I have done internship there. I do not like the weather there and my org says that I have to go there only. I want to do a early switch(weather+low ctc). Many peeps from WITCH do switch despite having 3 month notice period.

Can someone guide me what to do in this situation. Do I have no other option than staying in this company ? Please enlighten me all software engineers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I want to switch to a product based company with good payscale, but finding it hard to even get one interview call. 

Also, is it even fine to switch right now as per market conditions?

I work at a good MNC with 10 billion dollar + revenue, but I joined here as a fresher so I get paid less.

I am into front-end development, specialising in Angular with 2yoe.

Any leads would help greatly.

Heard the job market is pretty tight for early SDE1s < 2YOE. How to make the best out of this dire situation any tips on how to atleast get a interview to showcase ur skills ? Also any good startups or product based companies hiring SDE1s to be on a look out for

How to actually get an entry level job as a Software Engineer in India in this situation off campus.

Now there is rarely any offcampus opening for SDE 1 and even if there is, there are thousands of applicants for a few openings and the companies barely reply.

I'm in a very bad college with almost no campus placement, but I've done total 1+ years internship, one in reputed startup and other in a MAANG company, and still not getting any replies.

How to overcome this situation, is this the toughest time for a fresher to get a decent job ?

I am SDE backend with 6 yoe (Java, spring boot, python, flask) currently working with org in Pune with annual package of 32 LPA I want to switch to higher package  but couldn't find many options in Pune or remote India already applied to many companies on linkdin but no luck from past few months also work in current org isn't much exciting. How to get a job as a fresher?

I am a tier three college student with good coding skills, and as we all know, the market situation is totally messed up. Despite this, I have received one offer of 5 LPA in Surat (startup) for the role of SDE - 1. What should I do? I don’t have any experience or internship offer is based on all interviews rounds  and coding skills. Any opinion is it good start !?
