So on the first allegation here about the HR agency, have heard from a friend who worked there that it’s 100% true  
  
 There are paper records of new hires being rerouted through the relative’s HR firm

I just received a call from someone claiming he's from the bank I hold an account. Apparently, he knew the branch where it is located.
This was the conversation:

 Fraud : Mam apka account close ho jaega, PAN(in his accent it was 'pain') activated nahi hai na.
Me: Theek hai, kardo, koi baat nahi.
Fraud: Mam, me apke he branch se baat kar raha hun, counter no. 2 (Me trying to stop my laugh 😂)
Me: Oh acha, theek hai.
Fraud: Mam, account block kar de raha hun, fir ye kabhi open nhi hoga.
Me: Arey, acha thik hai kardo, me branch aake PAN activate kar lungi.
Fraud: Nahi Mam, ye sirf online he hoga, kahin koi branch se nhi hoga. Aap abhi PAN bata do, me kardunga.
Me: Acha, koi baat nahi, block kar do.
Fraud: Lekin Mam, reason to bataiye block karne ke liye ( I am Still laughing at this statement 🤣)
Me: Arey reason to aapne he bataya, ki PAN activated nhi hai.
Fraud: Han to abhi karwa lijiye, me kar dunga. Aap PAN bataiye.
Me: Arey koi na, band kardo, baad me dekhenge
Fraud: Thik hai kardeta hun, saare funds "Government account" me transfer hojaenge.
ME: Han krdo. 
  Then he drops the call out of frustration.

1. The CEO of MPL bought a ~20cr house in embassy grove, Bangalore just before laying off 50% of the MPL team this week.

2. VC funded Live streaming apps like rooter, eloelo,  are basically frauds. Get tonnes of cheap users by running ads that look like porn, the real engagement is really bad unless they do giveaways. They use VC money to show porn ads and do giveaways, brag about downloads & engagement to raise even more VC money. It's a total ponzi.

I am a fresher and as we are aware that market conditions are not so good. I have joined some job posting groups where recruiters used to post regarding any openings. One guy claimed himself to be an employee of a reputed product based company asked for my resume as he have shared some openings in SDE role in his company.So i shared him my resume and then he msged me that  he will assure my joining letter by 25th if I promise him 1st month salary 's 5% compensation and se***l compromise. What the hell is going on.

What is even happening. Scamster is back

For those who aren’t aware - this guy was faking his education credentials (he was using my Alma mater in his LinkedIn and Twitter bio).  
  
 He used to charge obnoxious amount for career counseling on Topmate. Was featured on some economic news channel as well during last year’s budget.  
  
 In Sep 2023, he was exposed by a fellow Twitterati. That he hasn’t even completed graduation, let alone a Post Grad.  
  
 Most of his tweets were copy paste from other sources, his gyaan was generic.  
  
 The guy went AWOL from Twitter.  
  
 He returned back in January of this year, posted a thread and a video but never even acknowledged his mistake or apologized for his misdemeanors.  
  
 And imagine such fake people are being nominated for events like these.  
  
 Since, I wasn’t personally defrauded hence I cannot file a police complaint but I’m trying to connect with people who were duped off their money so that this fraudster does face Justice.  
  
 PS - Yes, he’s certainly on his way to becoming an MLA or MP pretty soon.

 2. Has pretty bad track record (at least in USA), of the featured founders to be frauds

The camp in my opinion is not what it claims to be. People who are doing well in the camp are the ones who took matters in their own hand and started learning on their own.

Pros:

1. Practice sets were given often(There were 27 practice sets of all topics) which helped us form the practice for writing code for hooks without wasting time in thinking about the approach.

2. Community is good. MA’s are very helpful and will guide you in every situation. Taking the time out of their busy schedule. Very thankful to them.

3. Machine coding rounds were conducted. Which helped us speed up the process. 

4. Revision sessions were conducted for people who couldn’t understand the lecture taken by Tanay. These sessions were taken by Akanksha.

Cons:

1. Redux was removed from course even though it is mentioned on the website. They say that redux is not important but it is, companies ideally want their candidates to know redux.

2. Tanay simply skims through a topic, does not go in depth inside any topic. An advice which he ironically gives in his youtube videos. He ignores any advanced questions asked in the session claiming he has not covered yet. Says he will teach later and does not cover that topic later.

3. We were forbidden to discuss anything that isn’t taught yet.Stopping the flow of knowledge. That means you can’t even use the community to discuss something new because they haven’t taught it yet.

4. MA’s(Ex-neoGrads) were discouraged from answering questions about topics that weren’t taught yet. They used to host sessions on hard topics that people didn’t understand in voice chats but were discouraged to do so.

5. Didn’t even cover the dependency array in useEffect hook. He just said you will keep it empty 90% of the time. useMemo and useCallback were not even mentioned. Forget about code optimizations. Honestly, you will learn more in a 30min youtube video than in their class.

Reality of neoG bootcamp

I joined Neog hoping to learn Advanced Full stack but LOL this whole bootcamp is a scam. They are only focussed on earning money. A simple 500rs Udemy course will teach you more than this Channa mereya drama. There has been 0 percent addition in my knowledge after joining NEOG because I already know basics I wanted to learn Advanced things. 
  
 1) No Lectures on memo and callback 
 2) No Redux 
 3) DSA lol (mentioned on the website) 
 4) Backend LMAO ( mentioned on the websit) 
 5) Industry Standard Coding - why is it even mentioned on the website. 
  
  
 I have no problem with Neog Do whatever you want. But please don't lie about your course. Just Mention it on your website that you will only teach basics. I regret that hard-earned money of my parents is wasted.

P.S. - Despite all regulators raising flags about 10-day MBA as fraud, the team is still using “the critical illness” opportunity to plug that in. 

No mercy, no sympathies for such fraudsters!!
