What were those steps and website they asked you to visit to cancel insurance ?

They told to download app icici help desk, and that's it,didn't know they were recording my phone soemhow so without me giving otp everything they saw

3 days ago, I also received 2 messages of unauthorized transactions. I did not connect with person online or phone whatsoever.. 
  
 I immediately called axis bank and reported them. They said they investigate these issues. The money deducted will be return back to me till investigation concludes. Let's see what happens when the investigation concludes, keeping my fingers crossed.

Credit Cards have usually this safety feature that if you complain within 24 hrs and dispute the transaction, they definitely reverse that transaction. But do read detail about your card specific complaint mechanism, it may be slightly different for different Banks. Since you already complained, did you not get any email from them about reversal?

Guys received a call today,looked very genuine he told me that u need to cancel your insurance of credit card,to do so he guided some steps where I did not share a single info with him,maybe he was able to screen record and tool details and then suddenly I got message that 1lac spent on your credit card. Later after 2mins observed 97k transaction was unsuccessful due to security reasons (thank god). I have filed complaint to icici and I have blocked my card, registered in cyber crime also.
Now I want to know, as it was credit card, will icici solve this matter or they will ask me to pay.
Please Guys currently stressed alot,didn't share this with anyone neither parents because then they will be tensed.

Hello All , 

I went on an international vacation and someone stole my credit card and did 2.5 L in INR worth of transactions . 

While I was checking in the hotel I received a mail and sms for 2 transactions which makes it 2.5L INR and 5 declined transactions of 4.8 L as the card declined the limit . I blocked the card  & approached the bank to raise a dispute.

I had reported this to my bank in under 4-5 hours of it happening I was told by the phone banking team that the  TAT is 90 days and I will get a temporary limit till the case is solved .
Simultaneously, I had reported the stolen of card and got a physical complaint to present it to the bank. 

Within 24 hours I received a mail from the bank that I have shared my pin and the person has used the card and also told me to make the payment to avoid the further charges.

The card was tap & pay mode where you don’t require a pin. Hence , the transaction went through. 

PS - I did take travel insurance and have spoken to them also but I am not sure whether it will work or not as the representative said we will look into and revert. 


I wrote a mail to RBI to help me in this matter , can someone suggest me what else can be done ? It is causing me unnecessary stress now.  What happens in the scenarios like this ?

I was in Mumbai this weekend and I was having street food in Ghatkopar. I heard someone whispering but ignored. When I turned around I saw three people, 2 guys and 1 girl. I continued enjoying my food when I saw that the girl behind me had left and dropped some money. I walked up to her and told her about it.

I bent down to pick it up when the other two guys bumped into me. I think they were cloning my card all this while, I will explain why I think that. I asked them if something was wrong and they said No and went away. 

I checked today morning and 16,731 were deducted at some weird merchant in USA. I was confused, so I instantly blocked all my cards. I have contacted the bank about this fraud as well. 

I am confused: I did not do any transaction on any website that looked shady nor did I give my details out to anyone. The only thing that explains this is that they cloned my credit card and this was their strategy. How to comfirm this? Please help.

Hi guys 
I bought some thing in Amazon with amazon icici credit card. 
1.Now the issue is they have mentioned product cost is 13970₹ with no cost emi it costs 13600₹ + 200₹ processing fee with no interest. No I am paying 14256₹ 
2.now the issue here with bank icici is they are charging intrest in the emi transactions and gst (obviously) but my concern is they are "charging intrest here "
So any thoughts on this because this is my first time buying like this 
And any  advice next time when buying like this to see these hidden transactions before buying.?

Had a bank account of Kotak where it was inoperative from 1.5 years and NMC Charges went to 7900 INR. When I went to close the account they started insisting me to pay the charges.

How do we deal this folks, coz at the time of taking account they said it is zero balance and then after salary stopped crediting they converted  into a savings account with mostly generic alerts !!!!

I applied for two credit cards in the past month.
Amex Platinum Travel & AU Ixigo.
Amex was approved very fast and I even got the card very soon. On the other hand, AU Ixigo application got declined 💀💀
Any idea as to what extra checks or criteria these guys have? 
My cibil score is very good, have HDFC, ICICI and OneCard cc’s, pretty decent net salary as well.

On another note: Please suggest a cc with 0% forex fee and lounge access…. That was my main reason to apply for the au ixigo card in the first place xD

I was trying to mortgage my property for some cash and one “associate” from SBI took INR 90,000 from me on the pretext of one fees or the other. He signed a “document” promising to return the money too. In fact, he issued a cheque for half the amount. No surprises, the cheque bounced 

It has been one month now and I still haven’t got my money back. I don’t know what to do.

This is a genuine question. Recently my close friend got scammed on telegram and now the other person has blocked him and there is no way to contact him. Is there a way to get your money back as I have heard that there is a way where you report it online and get a refund. Is this true? Does cyber crime or NPCI really refund the money back?
If so how much time does it take.
