Generation gap?
I am sharing a screen shot of a separate conversation on this platform started by a student. I found it be coming from a young fellow who was inspired by these words of wlb and best pay etc. But then there may be a mature (10+yr ex) chap who reverted to him to focus on learning. I was amazed by the confidence of the author of the post in reverting to that fellow while taking a shot at his pseudo name also ( which was quite funny actually).
Just wanted opinion from fellow folks especially those who may be from the late 80s Or early 90s about this shift in attitude and confidence that this young generation has. I see it as positive in terms of the confidence that this post and comment eludes and negative in terms of the cockiness it seems to show as if students who are not even out of college know everything in the world. Just wanted thoughts from others also.
Full disclaimer - This is my attempt to understand the persona and psyche of the new generation, not demean them.
This is another post by a recent student which showcases creative thinking to take feedback which is something unique

Not all, but I have seen this "Humare zamane me" attitude
Yes you struggled
Yes you have made it big after a lot of hardwork
There's no harm if someone half the age, achieves the same success in half the time
The younger generation has lot of technology at their disposal, it will accelerate their growth (if used correctly)
I'm an oldie but I support the student here. However, they can be more respectful in response, not because talking to an elder but it shows how well they have been raised
I agree, this post is about that only if u have read the below comments about the (over) confidence of young generation
