I think this whole Hungama around generative AI will go the crypto way. Apart for some nifty hacks whole thing doesn’t have legs.

Not sure how chatgpt will impact us but for image generation/stable diffusion ... I see it as a quality tooling upgrade. It will have a major impact as noobs can now also generate quality images. The pros will now be even faster/Better at their job like we see in the Adobe firefly demos.
I expect the efficiency gain would lead to around 20-30% job loss in the artist/creator industry, even more for freelancers.
On the negative side it will lead to all kinds of fake news due to fake images
IMO, it will definitely create a bubble which will burst eventually, similar to the dot com bubble. But this is unlike the web3/crypto bubble. Eventually only a few companies will survive but will be market leaders.
But this ai bubble still have some usecases unlike crypto nft bubble which was so shit
Have seen atleast a couple of trends die out, which were introduced to us as "future" i.e blockhain / crypto - we aren't seeing people talk about it as much they did in 2021-2022.
