Future of trends!!!

Have seen atleast a couple of trends die out, which were introduced to us as "future" i.e blockhain / crypto - we aren't seeing people talk about it as much they did in 2021-2022.

Remote work - they said it will be future. Now many offices firing if employees not reporting to office

Is generative AI going to be next on the list? Or which other trend do you think belongs to this list

Nope. Generative AI is just too good for it to die down like the crypto train. Crypto trend had always been very vague and had a lot of uncertainties wrt to acceptance of crypto money , govt support , no fundamentals behind value of crypto.

On the other hand Generative AI is literally too good in it's initial phase itself. It has no dependency on govt. Apart from cybersecurity issue I don't see any other reason why GenAi would fail. It's only going to get better with time.

But then again it's my personal opinion and I can be horribly wrong as well :)
