So, I graduated in 2020 and joined this org at 9 ctc, worked on good stuff for 2.5 years, got two hikes and reached at 14, got promoted as well and currently at 17. Though I gave some interviews during golden 21-23 period, I couldn't switch. Seeing my friends from college having switched atleast once, with some becoming sde2 at Microsoft and Amazon, my confidence is now broken.
Although I realise my mistakes and can't do anything about past. How should I pick up from here. Just went through sample interview exp at lc, and have prepared a roadmap, however that would take another 3 months, how much impact my cctc would have on future ones. Kindly advice for any preparation tips as well.

Tune them out from your life for few months.
Stick to your roadmap and practice regularly. Sounds generic but there's no other way.
Many people are in the same boat but are afraid to come out seeing the inflated salary here.

In grapevine, noise is more about the ones with high CTCs. Many people are preparing just like you.
Comparison is great. Keeps you motivated. Keep up the grind.
Current market is brutal as you would know, try to leverage your network as much as possible to get notified of openings and apply. You be in a better shape by end of the year

Comparison sucks man, for every 5L earner there is 10L earner, for every 10L earner there is 20L earner. For every 20L earner there is 50L earner.
Everybody takes their own time and has their own journey, just try switching

No sense to compare as everyone is different and is in different circumstances and wants different things from life. If you are doing well and happy that’s what mattters. Don’t look too much in others life(stay away from social media)

When you are seeing CTC you should see their wlb and other factors also.
I think by this time you should be mature enough to think what do you wanna do in ur life instead of comparing other journey with yours.
Focus on urself. If you think you can do better push yourself but don't compare yourself with others.
