Grapevine - Feedback on App Experience
Dear Grapevine Team,
I am reaching out to express my growing frustration with the number of bugs I am encountering on your platform. It seems there is a stronger focus on delivery rather than quality, which is affecting the overall user experience. As a product manager, I understand the challenges, but I believe that the leadership’s priorities significantly impact the team's approach to quality.
While I admire the problem Grapevine aims to solve, the increasing bugs are diminishing its value. I urge you to consider prioritizing quality, as continued frustrations may lead to users leaving the platform.
Below are some common issues I've encountered on my Samsung S23 Ultra (Android):
- Frequent logouts while browsing the app.
- Sessions do not remain active; the app refreshes repeatedly upon reopening.
- Navigating to comments or posts often redirects back to the home screen with a refresh.
- The comment dialog box occasionally floats randomly on the screen or hides behind the keyboard.
- It seems like recent updates are introducing more bugs—perhaps a more refined merge process could prevent such issues.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that future updates enhance the stability and user experience of the app.
If you can't do much, please atleast ensure the happy path works smooth. Even that is an issue atm.

Really appreciate you writing this out Sorry about the number of issues you're facing, this is a very poor experience given all of these are occuring at once
I am making a list out of what you have mentioned and will ask our team to take a proper look at each item.

Also, I think you're unable to see some comments because there are two different posts that got created
Hence comments are mixed across the two :(
Why 2 posts got created is another question Sir Unpaid Intern.
For a single post, if user clicks on reply button 10 times, should the reply be posted 10 times dor the same message? You decide?
Another bug - I just tried to comment 3 times, and it’s clicking the share button. It reflects that someone shared this thrice but this is not the case.
These are not the only ones @UnpaidIntern but just a few.
I cant write everytime but please encourage your users to submit feedback, i dont even have any option to report what i am facing atm other than posting it as a post.

I understand. We recently created an option to directly ping the team on WhatsApp (from the settings menu) to help with better feedback sharing
If it's okay, could you ping us anything that appears for you? This would go a long way for us!
