Grapevine convinced me to book tickets to Vizag!
Help me build an itinerary now 🥺
2 days Vishakapatnam and 2 days Araku + Lambasingi - you can plan for 4 days.
2 day Vishakapatnam:
- First Day go to the beach (There are many such - Choose the best two from online reviews), Go for some good local restaurants and then roam some famous places such as Submarine museum etc. and then go for Evening walk in RK beach.
- Second Day go to nearby holy places such as Annavaram and visit local parks and don't forget to visit the beach for a walk again in the morning and evening.
- Third Day go to Araku. Start early in the morning and stay in Araku Government guesthouse and then visit all famous tourist places ( You can check the internet for this). Also try going for a trek(one day) if possible to places such as Aramakonda. If it is a weekend you can check Hikoi Adventures who takes you on a one day trek and let you see Actual tribal culture. DO NOT forget to experience Tribal culture and their foods ( Bamboo Chicken and Rajma Curry - The best I've tried). Buy some coffee as well
- Fourth Day go to Lambasingi early in the morning and visit famous tourist places. Again stay in the Government Guest house there.
I went last December (2022) and it was one of the best experiences ever. If you can try Vishakapatnam - Araku train journey in Vistadome coach to view Araku valley beauty.
Lemme know if you have any doubts. I have friends from Vizag and also know the language.

Thank you for writing this! It is really extensive and detailed
A little problem though, it's more like workaction (no leaves) so I have already booked hotel within Vizag for the tenure 🤐

Pretty good plan. How many days? And what do you like to do?
