Have used MagicPin. Great one, from 1-2 selected outlets, I used to get food in as low as Rs 90 at times. Great discount, but only with very selected outlets

How much was it after taxes + delivery? These days ordering on Zomato requires the amount to be at least 200 to avoid high delivery charges or to get a decent coupon

I forgot to mention, i used to take premium subscription of MagicPin. It costs Rs 69/month. That small amount is more than made up by the discount, if you order even twice a week. Delivery charges off for <10kms + 10-20% discount at selected restaurants. So after that, I had got food in 80-90 a few times. But most other times, it used to cost 130-170 range

Has anyone used ONDC? Does it have any app? It was mentioned somewhere that it heavily reduces delivery costs and prices are better than swiggy and Zomato.

I've been using Magicpin since 2021 and have recently gotten to know that they are a Zomato sub company and have Collaborated with ONDC as well for food and groceries, but then also, how are they giving all that stuff???
This might sound dumb but when I ought to order some food, probably chicken biryani from a good biryani joint, I check all my available options i.e. Swiggy, Zomato, Magicpin(I'm a student😶🙂), and although there are other options as well, I mostly check with these three only..., and I've recently downloaded Paytm to access the ONDC network from there as well..., my question is, suppose I'm ordering Biryani from the same joint from all the different apps, the one on Magicpin sometimes is like 50% of the others, so how are they still running??
Now for clarity, I've purchased the Membership plan of Magicpin so I can get away with almost none delivery charges, but the plan costs 100 a month and If I'm ordering just on Sundays, and delivery charges are like 50-60 each order without the Membership, then it's still costing me less..., I just want to understand, how they function, and one more thing, as I mentioned earlier, Paytm has also collaborated with Magicpin as well as Pincode by PhonePe, but their offerings are not as Magicpin.

Will ONDC kill Swiggy, Zomato?

Ordered cause it showed free delivery, they didn't deliver even after 5 hours, while from this restaurant previously order through Paytm app ondc section it was delivered.
There's no update on support ticket created from ola app.

If things remain like this ONDC for food would fail at scale, it's crap experience end to end.

fyi I know same restaurant is on zomato/swiggy, default option less cognitive load and faster deliveries, don't know what I thought before using ondc.

Tried ordering from ola foods, payment done, order got accepted, it's been 2hrs didn't receive the food even the restaurant is not picking up the call. 

There's no customer care number for ola foods. 
Do they expect us to mail them & then within 48 hours they will look into the matter.

Lately there's a lot of negativity in general with layoffs, funding winter etc. PM as a function is one of the roles that's faced the brunt of it.

So this post is just to share our appreciation towards any product based out of India that we used/using daily to just create a bit of positivity in this environment.

Let me start with
1) Porter - Had to shift recently. Wonderful experience  managing the whole process through the app.
2) Urbanclap - Seemless process from booking a house cleaning service till the final rating and closure of request.
3) Yulu - Was stranded in a metro station with no Auto or bike taxis accepting my ride of 2 km. This came in as a savior with the app guiding a first time user to use a bike without breaking sweat.

Zomato delivered another great set of results. Now they are adding 250Cr cash every quarter.
The company hit two benchmarks this quarter according to my calculations, 50,000 Cr worth of orders (4x Q3) and 100 Cr orders (4x Q3), and these are growing 25-30% year on year.
Why is this interesting? As some of you might know, they have started adding platform fees to the orders. Even one more rupee of platform fee will add 100 Cr to EBITDA. So, if they increase fees from 5 to 10, that's 500 Cr more EBITDA every year.
 
Now, If you look at this quarter's results vs last quarter's results, they have added ~3600 Cr of order value, and made 380 Cr of EBITDA (this does not include Events). Which means they are making 10% as EBITDA. In next 3 years, if Zomato doubles their order value to 1,00,000 Cr, and even make 8% EBITDA, this could mean 8000 Cr EBITDA (almost 1 billion dollars). What markets will give as multiple on this, is guess work. Could be 25-40x (Don't hold me on this). Hence the stock looks undervalued from a 3 year lens

How many of aware that , ola has launched its own food delivery service, as it is new they r giving crazy' offers , iam not sure how long they gonna give . Iam in blr it's available here and iam sure it might be in other metropolitan cities too. (P.s ui of app is trash tho , lots of hugs and defects )
