Respected Sir/Madam, 
 I am writing in regards to the current environment at our (PhonePe) workplace. I believe that there are several factors that could be addressed to create a better environment for employees, and I would like to bring these issues to your attention. 
 First, Our Top Management Leader Mr XYZ, ABC & STU is mentally harassing employees 
 and intimidation are common occurrences in the workplace. This is in the form of hostile comments, threatening to sack, creating undue pressure. It is creating a detrimental effect on employee morale and productivity. 
 Secondly the work-life balance is often out of balance, with long working hours (8:00 am to 10:00 pm and limited opportunities for relaxation or breaks, it is leading to burnout and stress-related illnesses. It is essential that employees are given reasonable working hours and frequent breaks to ensure their physical and mental wellbeing. 
 Fourth, These managers shout at employees on occasions by calling them on calls and asking random questions and harassing. This type of behavior is not conducive to creating a productive environment within the org. It only serves to create an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among employees. It is important that managers treat employees with respect and professionalism at all times. 
 Lastly, to say - Sales is a continuous process and it fluctuates day on day depending upon good and bad weather, political environment, absentism in team etc but managers above and down the line shout only for numbers without recognition for our hard work. This is leading to burnout and discontentment among employees who feel taken advantage of or undervalued. 
 Furthermore these action have had severe consequences in those leaders personnel family relationships, causing irreparable damage of their own life is trying to damage life of others by ruthless behaviour and poor decisions. 
 Finally I have decided to leave the organisation and I hope this will be taken into consideration when creating a p

I’m really curious to know what exactly the Marketing Team does cause in the previous two organisations that I worked at , The Marketing Dept was kinda meh. So I wanted to know if it’s the case everywhere or does an actual good Marketing Team exist as the ones I’ve interacted with their lead generation and marketing was trash.

Not an Anti India or Indian hating post but I work in sales and I’ve discovered that Indians act so entitled as if they’re some high and mighty royals who have transcended from heavens above when interacting with anyone who’s calling them after they themselves requesting for it. 

Half the times these dumb clowns can’t even articulate 2 sentences together in English and struggle to understand what you try and tell them but act like they know it all. 

We’ve got to clean up our act as customers and human beings before we make a bigger mockery of ourselves than what’s already out there. No wonder we’re categorised as the cheap hooligan crowd outside.

I've had some frustrating experiences at a certain B2B eCommerce subsidiary of a international bank, where the work culture and technology are far from ideal. Expecting 3-4x output from employees with outdated manual processes and technology is a tough ask. The sales team's situation is even worse, having to resort to fake orders due to unrealistic targets and a subpar app. It's disheartening to see top management prioritize PR exercises over addressing these critical issues.

The current company which I work in is backed by YC and is one of the most toxic workplaces I have ever seen. I joined as one of the early engineers and since then the founders attitude and ego have only become worse.

The thing is they think hiring anyone in a short span of time can replace someone who’s working there for like more than 2 years and have built the product from scratch. This just infuriates me.

Hey everyone, when do you think is a good time to move on from a startup and start looking out for a new role ?

To give you a background, I have been part of this startup in a sales closing role for more than 3+ years. Being a Hardware + software product, we had a rough time in the initial years but clocked close to a 1 Million USD in orders booked with good contributions from my side. However, past few months, the mood across board is very gloomy with

• Layoffs happening every month ,
• Competition moving ahead of us in a rapid pace,
• We are more or less absent from most of the tradeshows. Being a Hardware product driven through trade channels like distributors, being present at these shows is paramount. So no inbound leads
• Marketing function being reduced to single person responsible to just post on LinkedIn and website maintenance,
• No clear direction from the founders on the way forward, completing the remaining product items or contributing to sales
• A feeling across board that everyone including the senior management is just looking at saving their jobs
• Last hike in Jan 2022. In Jan 2023 we did not have any hike but we were promised a percentage of orders booked if we reach BEP. we are still way short of BEP

How do you think should I evaluate the whole situation ? Is it time to look out aggressively for a new job ?
