House buying plan

With rising prices of properties and houses, my dream of building a home will remain dream for me. When will that day come when common people will be able to buy property. All good properties are worth more than 1.3 cr. Home loan is also joke. For property worth 1 cr. You will pay double the amount as interests. How many people here have completed their dream of buying property without home loan. I don't want to take home loan as our jobs are very unpredictable. Any time any one can get laid off. Will we be able to buy our own home ever?

Should i buy a 3 bhk in Bangalore which is of 1.5cr or 2cr, and pay the Emi for next 10-20 years. Or i should consider some other alternatives.

I am earning lakh rupees a month(excluding my monthly expenses as a single). but when I think about buying a house (2bhk around 7.5 to 8 hundred sqft) in a city like Pune/ Banglore. I feel I will not be able to afford it considering other expenses (along with 60 k emi). but when I see people with a salary of 50-60k per month buying the same houses. how are these people planning it out? and most of the people earn between 30-60k how you guys are planning it? how should I plan this for myself? and 20 years of repaying the loan. i feel it's a trap.

I am just relating with our parent's era how they could afford to get house and do so much with limited income at that time in 90s. But with our gen I keep seeing these exorbitant prices. Do you think and plan on making investment to buy, I know many folks have very good income here and it might seem not so tough but generally speaking how shd one plan to get these things into place for house, education, etc etc with such rising prices.

I live in Pune and travel to Bangalore often. I want to purchase house in Pune 2/3bhk but I don’t know if I would be able to stay in it as my job is insecure 😕 I am 40, have some savings of around 40L, hold about 50L in markets. Would it be a good bet to buy 1.4Cr flat? Is it a right decision? PS: what I understand all market projects are running sold out!

In the age of rent vs buy, In the age where black money, investors flip land, apartments and houses. How do navigate this situation , how do you buy a place to stay ? Also, kind people please post decent projects you guys saw recently, or bought in etc in Bengaluru.

New in Bangalore (just a year) Is it a good time to buy a property in Bangalore? If we want to look for a good 3/4 BHK, which areas should we target? Also, what should be the budget we can consider, based on the current market? My spouse and I have close to 95L to 1Cr in savings and investments. We can easily manage around 1Lac or more in EMI per month. Family can help more, it needed. Thanks.

Context - Buying as an investment, don't plan to live there. I plan to live on rent. Current rent is 17k/month. I'll keep it short for max input. I'm looking at some flats priced around 60-70L for a 2BHK. Rent in the area will be ~30k. If I pay 20L down and take a home loan for 40L, EMI will be approx ~65k for a period of 7 years (I want to pay it off ASAP, to pay the least amount of interest). I earn around 1.5L per month. Personal expenses are ~50k per month. Assuming I get 30K as rent I'll have to pay a maximum of 40K as emi. This is a very recent thought on which I've just researched for a couple of hours so apologies if I missed anything important but honestly this looks quite doable to me.

I've got a package around 40 LPA with 4 yrs exp, with 1.8L as take home Now, my parents are looking to buy a house at my home town (tier 2 city). It costs around 65L, so have to a loan of around 50L which will be around 65k EMI every month for the next 10 years Also I'm passionate about working on side projects doing some part time gigs, share around 40k to my family for their needs. This house loan will have a burden on me for sure, do you think it's the right decision to take home now or maybe postpone it to later?

To a relatively new adult, what financial advice(s) would you give on how to and where to invest my money?
