Guys I have joined a saas startup 2 months back as a customer success lead and have been given a daunting task of developing customer success from zero.

Previously engg team used to handle it and I am the first employee in customer success.

The customers are majorly in California and the neighbouring states. The company is 6 years old and they provide you can say ERP for hotels. 

I need to develop a plan to identify the customer health and build something that compliments the support team too

Software Developer

I'm currently working as a Frontend Engineer at leading FinTech in India. I'm doing great in my current role(IMO). I also contribute to open source libraries on weekends.
Maybe it is FOMO or my learning curve being relatively flat, recently I'm feeling I don't want to type cast myself as a frontend engineer and explore backend as well. I might get promoted to senior role this appraisal cycle. My current org (specifically my managers) don't want me to contribute in backend services as there are already plenty devs in backend.

How to go about this? I can't switch since, no company would hire a folk as a senior backend developer with 0 backend experience.
