What is the minimum CGPA that is required to sit in the placement drive of my college? I am in a private engineering college, so what would be the minimum eligibility for a CGPA to appear in the company interviews? Do students with higher CGPA have a better chance at campus placement or does it depend on how you perform in the test and interview?
If you want to get a job in an IT company and your college has organised a placement drive, then you should consider keeping a CGPA between 7.5 and 8. Not really, I have seen students with 6 gpa also sitting and getting through interviews. Not sure what's the hiring climate currently, but CG has been doing fresher hiring the past month.
