It’s clear to me that this isn’t good for me. My interaction with the outside world and being in the present is inversely proportional to how much I use IG/smartphone.

IG is obv the strongest drug, but in general want to be more conscious about what I do on my phone, when Inuse it.

Looking for genuine advice. Please help 🙏🏻

People who reduced IG/Smartphone usage, how did you do it?

This is worse addiction than smoking, drinking. 

Haven't watched any short/reels for 5 days straight feeling like a void inside. 

But its better, Watching reels/shorts would give a feeling of satisfaction because of the dopamine release.
So seeking other experiences for that dopamine hit. Life is getting better.

I couldn't concentrate for my placement preparation. Whenever I sit for studies, after 1hour session, then I go for a 15min break for second 1hr session. But that 15min break becomes 45min Or 60min break b'coz I get to watch YouTube(I don't use any other social media). & then I lost the motivation to sit for studies. 
I'm trying different apps to limit phone(primarily YouTube usage, but nothings working. 
Please suggest some solution guys. I need your precious guidance.

From the last two years, I am not using instagram. 
Sometime I use reddit or twitter but not that much. 

Most of the people around me use insta.

Is Instagram worth it?

I use Instagram to see what my friends are doing but most of the time I go to the discover section and keep watching reels for hours.

I just want to see what my friends are doing and share some of my life moments with them - not endless reels and ads. 

Do you guys also face the same problem? Is there any private social media where I can just get connected with my friends only?

Hello! 

I am 26y old currently living in Bengaluru, working in startups, fair compensation. I am looking to find a partner for the intention of marrying in around or less than 2 years of time. 
Have used Bumble and Hinge a lot, went to like 30+ dates in past 2 years, dated few girls but nothing serious came out of it - I think it’s the platform’s problem (anyways, there can be a separate debate for this)

There are old platforms like Shaadi.com, jeevansathi and new platform like betterhalf. I am not very sure on how to go about it?
