How safe is Bangalore for women to wear shorts in public?

I feel it's unreasonable to require MNCs to disclose the number of their employees who are Kannadigas and to prioritize Kannadigas for employment. Implementing such policies may breed resentment against the state and its communities. These measures could also raise doubts among investors about the viability of investing in a state with such regulations. Growing up, Bangalore was renowned for its welcoming people, pleasant weather, and thriving IT sector. However, with increasing instances of hooliganism and policies like these, Bangalore risks losing its appeal, leaving only its pleasant weather. As for my own background, my father is Kannadiga and my mother is Tamilian. Should my company consider me a Kannadiga?

Came to Bangalore to join an in-office role, the org and role is good. But coming from Gurgaon, I was not able to like the city. Some cons: - Extremely poor infrastructure like a tier 2 city - Every govt official is corrupt, police can harass you anywhere - You neither feel homely nor is there any vibe of a cosmopolitan city. Local politics will not let this city become a cosmopolitan startup hub. Gurgaon is so so much better. - Everyone just wants to loot money, everything is expensive. Rent is high, landlord deducting 1 month extra rent, unnecessarily high security amount, cook and maid everything is so effin’ expensive - Alcohol is expensive. - Good food is expensive The value of money is lesser here as compared to the rest of the country. I have a flight tonight and I am so happy that it’s a one way flight. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but bangalore can be very lonely and it has been so for many of my friends. Particularly ease of life is much higher in NCR and that’s why a lot of people move back. Those who feel otherwise haven’t lived in NCR so Bangalore is more of just a bubble for them. Adios!

What do you think about infrastructure of Banglore with thoughts of yesterday's incident ? Is it good or too bad Or just underpass should get closed ?

I am vacationing here at Bangkok. I can see the grand city infrastructure. I am staying at Baiyoke Sky Hotel and the the city view from top looks grandiose. So many skyscrapers! City has well connected metro and BTS. Everyone follows Traffic rules strictly even when no one is watching. Girls can roam freely at night in whatever dress they want to wear. Only at Indian restaurants I see Indian guys oogling at women. Resident People are so well behaved and so well groomed. The Auto drivers like Grab taxi drivers don't bother by cancellation like ola here. There are traffic problem but not as horrible as in Bangalore. They have something like an expressways in city with toll fees. Overall it was good to experience an utopi of a city

This water shortage thing in Bangalore is pretty depressing. There is an extreme shortage of water but no one on this planet seems serious about it. People are busy making memes around it , poking political parties , blaming the government. The government is blaming other governments and that's it. Imagine there were 280 lakes in the city now there are only 15. Imagine once Lalbagh and cubbon park were connected and there were elephants living there. How can a random land mafia dry up the lake and build stupid buildings illegally purely for their profits? They will profit from it but whose resources they took? Nature's resources that were meant for everyone. That land mafia must be chilling in Atlantis hotel in the rooftop swimming pool and here we are drying up. In the end , only the one sitting at the top would benefit from it and the one who will suffer is common person and they are still not realising how badly they will suffer in future. If you don't have water what are you going to drink? 500 2000 notes smoothie? No amount of money can give water. These land mafias and politicians will import fresh water for their families to drink after depleting Indian resources. What are you going to do ? And then this government brings CAA law to bring more people to our country where the existing citizens don't have enough resources. WAKE UP SAVE INDIA FROM POLITICIANS. Anyway , this is not a propaganda post against any political party because all parties are at the end corrupted, they will exploit everything to make money and then safeguard their family by sending them in foreign countries. The one who will suffer is us.
