How to Get Google PM interview short list ?

I would like to give some unsolicited advice here and suggest not to wate too much of your time, hopes and dreams on Google.

Google does not value product.

Google has brainwashed a generation into thinking it's work culture is special, it's not.

I have never met someone from Google India worth hiring at my own company.

Go via a strong referral. And prepare using Exponent

Google PM here, we have all types. Some good, some meh. Depends on what they did at google and specially what experience they have outside google. I spent loads of time outside google before landing there, so speaking from first hand experience.

Would not recommend applying now, till the dust settles and India layoffs situation is clarified.
