How do you maintain connect with them ?
What works, what doesnt and are there rather better ways to connect and built network over time ?
Is there a different mindset or attitude people carry while reaching out to people to build a connect?
Networking happens best only when youvare ina decision making role. Or independent professional. For salaried employees, it's not possible.
One thing which worked for me is to join the local chapter of any certification body that you are part of.. Like the CA chapter.or ISACA chapter.. you will get to meet a lot of people with similar background..but again depends on your line of work
