Living in Bangalore is like participating in a daily obstacle course of stupidity these days. It's like the city is hosting the World Championships of Not Using Common Sense. Day by day, it’s getting crazy in here. People are literally just straight-away stupid.

Picture this: I'm in the metro, following the line like some good boii. But no, here come the backline breakers, sprinting ahead like they just got the memo that the free WiFi is about to expire. They won’t even have the patience to let others deboard from the station (bs ghusna hai sbko).

On the road: Small Aile is there, and these morons either walk in the middle of the road or walk slowly like they are going to maaiyat. There is no way to even overtake them.

One day a couple was literally just standing in the middle of the fucking metro entry gate, and all other people were going from sides. I was literally at my fucking limits; I controlled the urge to ask them that whatever shit they're discussing, if that is a national concern, then it’s okay; otherwise, please fuck around on the side.

And what’s up with this throwing garbage on the road thing, literally every morning on the road, tons of food, spillage, and disposals of whatnot can be seen. God, please throw it in the trash.

(Trigger warnings ) I had a mental Breakdown two days where I actually contemplated to off myself. I feel I am completely stuck in my current job and mental health has taken a free fall. There has been nothing to look forward to in my job career is absolutely stagnant I remember days i stayed up in night just ensure smooth deliverables but none of that translated to promotions or hike well I know you all will say why didn't you switch this is where the problem is I cannot bring myself to actually concentrate and prepare it seemingly a huge effort for me. I just not able to have that energy i feel absolutely negative. I could use some tough love. All I know is I cannot continue its literally do or die for me .PS : 2 days ago I "celebrated" 5 yrs work anniversary.

Note: I don't have crores of rupees to invest and buy my way into residency or citizenships. So my roadmap is as per my affordability & wisdom.

I'm a self-employed quant engineer in India. Planning to move to Dubai and register a quant trading company in a UAE special economic zone. I think it requires for me to become an NRI first so I'll have to look into making certain arrangements for a 6 months stay in Dubai or so. This is to be done by 2025-26 so that I can avoid the 40% flat taxes on F&O income that is considered as speculative gains in India. So I must become and retain an NRI status to register and continue company operations in UAE tax free. Now to stay an NRI, there's a restriction that I can't stay more than 6 months in India or else my tax residency changes to India.

Other personal troubling factors in India are the food, air quality, disrespectful, unjust and corrupt authorities (ITD, FSSAI, ED, CBI, Courts, etc). Nevertheless, there are some good support systems and accessible aid in India. Moreover my family would not settle abroad so I neither want to settle in India nor leave access to India.

The one long term permanent solution to all of the above problems I've come up with is getting an ILR in UK after staying there for 5 years on a skilled worker tier-2 sponsorship visa that will be given to me by a friend who owns a company there. This will cost me significantly (approx total 15-20L incl every legality and excl any living or travel expense) but not as much as through the investment routes. In the 5th year my visa would expire but I'd be eligible to apply for ILR, in 7-8th year I can apply for UK citizenship and finally in 9-10th year I can apply for an Overseas Citizen of India and then I can stay as long as I want in any of the 3 countries - India (for family), UAE (business and healthcare), UK (home) without any taxes on my UAE income. Bonus: Schengen Visa and many other visas should be easy to obtain on a British Passport for world tour.

Few weeks ago I checked Workday and saw that I was not promoted, while other people here were promoted apparently. Apparently, you could check in your workday whether you were promoted or nah.

Anyway, I was disappointed that I was not promoted from C11 to C10 even after working so hard. In my moment of weakness, I confided in my girlfriend. We have been dating for 3 months now. I was in a horrible mood and wanted to let it all out.

She decided to break up with me by the end of that week and said that it wouldn't work out between us. It was a very sad moment for me, after not being promoted and then the break up.

But FINALLLLYYYYYY!!!! I got promoted from C10 to C11. Apparently, workday method was not true for me. I am very happy that I got promoted. I told my family and friends. Since, me and my girl had recently broken up not many people had known about it so someone must've asked about my promo to her.

Now, she's saying that why did I lie to her that I did not get a promo(I did not lie at all) and she wants to get back together and said that she is sorry.

What should I do now? I can't resist her anymore.

I always think of studying or building that one project over the weekend or complete that one chore which is pending from past 2 years!
But fail everytime, I don't even move on weekends i don't like going anywhere I don't even like house full of people I just want quite time in weekends but unfortunately don't get it so I feel like I have not relaxed properly and this makes me think I deserve to be lazy all because of this have not studied from a long time so much so that I am almost back to being a noob on my skills its so freakin heart breaking where I have landed myself and I repeatedly do this every week! I can't even focus on one thing. Even if I quit social media and get serious it's just for 2-3 days max after that I am back to the procrastination den.

Please guide, seriously need advice and steps that can be helpful to overcome this.

I was looking for job for 1.5 years, I studied and learnt a lot. Now I got a job and noticed that I am not getting opportunity to learn or study anything new.
My profile is TS based Node. Js. While taking my interview, they asked everything in backend docker etc and somehow I cleared given that I did not knew much. While joining I was glad that since this job will require all these things, I will get to learn it from other folks given that how I am weak in these things.
But now after joining there, all the pomp is gone. Docker image was setup once and now all we are asked is to clone a reponand write(read copy) some lambda function from already written repo by senior and it is too much to write and time consuming. 
I am not getting time and opportunity to learn and honestly even udemy or YouTube tutorial is not enough to learn what real work in company teaches.

Can you folks please help????

I am in my 3rd year (BE) . Unfortunately got tier-3 college. Was very ambitious regardless of the situation ,wanted to crack FAANG or any big thing. Started Learning from the first year itself while others were just enjoying . Was working very hard . Did some DSA . Did some full stack web-dev . College is super bad so relied on yt for roadmap and advice(No didi bhaiyas specifically) .There is literally sooo much to do dsa, dev , cp in just 4 year where i have to search the way out and learn while college bullshit (attendence , cgpa). Now everything seems worthless. All my efforts are all in vain. All are on the same pedestral now.  No one is getting anywhere. NO INTERNSHIP ,, i could see myself getting 4-5 lpa after this grind in the end. Well in the end I have to accept the fate that I am mediocre.

Not relationship together - but it's like when you're close to someone but not given a relationship tag yet. But after one year, I got to know that he was talking to his ex girlfriend and then he left me giving some reasons. I was devastated.
Since then, I used to keep pushing men away.
Whenever someone tried to come close to me, I kept on pushing them.
And that's how I've never been in a relationship.
And now that I wish to be in a relationship, every guy around me is either already married or about to get married.
