I completed my bachelor's in Psychology and have good practical application of psychological skills. I was always intrested in UI/UX since middle-high school but didn't know about its existence. Now since its mainstream I was thinking of getting into it, my aim is to make designs that are good, follow some reliable rules yet have creative applications applied to make it unique and use cognitive psychology to make it a pleasurable and human centric experience.

ECOLAB (American MNC,work leader in chemical manufacturing) : 19.5fixed 21 CTC
Deloitte India: 18 fixed 20 CTC
EY India : 19 fixed 21 CTC
KPMG global services: 19 fixed 21 .5 CTC. 

Please help me with your inputs so i can make a better decision.

I'm working with Ernst & Young for around 4 years now. Great working culture, great flexibility, decent salary. I work in international Taxation. 

I haven't started exploring opportunities outside,  but I was curious to understand if I should apply to finance startup companies or stick to Big 4 company.

I am looking for more salary, interesting role, more learning, I can put in maximum hours on a daily basis, prefer 2 week wfh/ wfo.

Hi everyone, would appreciate some suggestion/guidance. 

I, 29F, am a chartered accountant. In the first 3.5 years of my career I worked in a small CA firm where I could get exposure of small clients in all areas like tax, audit and other compliances. 

Later, I switched to a company in transfer pricing field and have been working here for 2.5 years. 

After having worked here, I realize I wish to mak my career in corporate tax and not in transfer pricing. But this would bring about a cut in designation and pay, not sure to what extent. 

Any suggestions on how I can make this transition easier without significant cut of pay?

Hi folks, I have got offer from both Accenture and EY GDS. I have accepted the offer from Accenture but haven't accepted the EY offer yet as they provided it last week. EY have just matched the Accenture offer that also with fixed compensation showing no exact ctc. I am a little confused if I should accept the offer from EY as well.

Note - 1. Both have the same location.
2. same compensation 
3. Both low balled me

My tech stack is python having overall 6.2 yoe. I still have 2 months left for my notice period to end but confused on should I accept EY offer as well.

Hi everyone,i am working in PwC Oracle ERP domain right now and have 2.5 YOE (functional not technical )in the same role but i feel that Oracle ERP is not that great and do not wish to continue further in the same and want to switch to either Data analyst role or to SDE role in big tech.But, I am not sure about my interests and one of the main reasons i would want to switch to the above roles is the opportunities that are present as well because Oracle ERP pay is decent enough but work life balance is not great and when something does not interest you much i feel at-least wlb should be there.

A much needed advice from the public would be helpful here if they have knowledge about the scope of oracle and how do i transition and gain relevant skills to Data analyst or SDE while still working in PwC.
