Hi,

I recently came across a Linkedln post by an individual claiming that Barclays does not hire freshers through off-campus referrals and that the only way to get hired is through campus recruitment drives. According to this post, any job postings for freshers are only available on Barclays' official career portal.

I wanted to check with those who currently work at Barclays or have firsthand knowledge of their hiring process:   Is this information accurate?

Does Barclays strictly hire freshers only through on-campus drives, or are there other legitimate avenues for fresh graduates to join the company?

Any insights or clarifications would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, So I have done my Bachelors in Engineering and I am thinking of switching to the role of Business Analyst. I was wondering if anyone could help me out wether it’d be a good idea or not also if I make the switch which skills or tools should I work on to make my profile look good or stand out. I've been working since the last 1.5 years as a customer service & operations analyst ( similar to process analyst/ operations analyst etc. ) in Retail Banking Ops and would like to upskill and switch to better roles ( where productivity and performance is not quantitative but qualitative as well).

My target roles/job profiles are those where BAU is not confined strictly to copy paste tasks but stimulates intellect. 

Would appreciate suggestions/certifications / courses which will make my resume strong { strong enough to apply in mid-career roles in investment banks( for example JP Morgan), AMCs (BlackRock), audit firms (KPMG), financial services ( AmEx), banks with GCCs in India ( NAB ) }

Context- I recently joined X a week ago and I got a offer from Y today. I interviewed with Y a few days before joining X and told them that I will need a answer fast but they didn’t get back to me on time. They called me last week to tell me that they would like to move forward with me and rolled out an offer today. Should I leave my current company as they Y has come up with a better offer and APM role, whereas X has a lower offer (not too big of a difference) and Senior Product Analyst role. This is my first full time job, so I am confused on what to do and what could be the consequences
