Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me know what skills do I need to learn if I need to make my career in Machine Learning. I'll tell you my current situation. I know the theory part of ML. I have written a research paper on Semi Supervised Learning with a professor in my college.(I am writing another one). So academically my professor is urging me to continue doing research somewhere for another 3 years of my bachelor's degree and then apply to any company after my PhD. but I don't think I want to. So I am seeing this AI developer roles on LinkedIn but they are looking for developers with a basic knowledge of ML and AI. Where should I apply and for what roles?

Hey fellas, I'm looking to start preparing for admissions for Fall'25 but quite confused where / how to start. A little bit about myself 
I did my undergrad from a foreign University (in Aus) on a scholarship and majored in computer science. Graduated back in 2021 with a gpa of 3.39/4.0 and had been working as a backend/ML engineer since then. Although I mostly work with backend, I've some contributions around ML mostly in Fintech and agritech side.

I'm looking to pursue my master's around ML or AI to develop a niche and get back into industry afterwards (most of the orgs require you to have a master's with extensive work experience, one of the major reason I wish to pursue a postgrad). I have 2.5 yrs of work experience as of now and would be over 3 yrs and 8 months of work experience if I go for fall 25. Apart from this, I have a research paper yet to be published (submitted) around Neuromorphic Computing. 

I am honestly not very sure where to start, although I have a few unis shortlisted and they don't really require GRE scores and I might have an exempt from TOEFL as well so I might just be looking for SOPs and LORs apart from strengthing my profile more(or learning lang if applicable). I would be grateful if you all can help in letting me know how and where to start given the timeline.

How should I start my journey to move to EUR (Ger/Swiss preferably) for MS around ML/AI?

I am a final year computer engineering student and am currently looking for ML engineer or software engineer  opportunities, I have done two internships, one for 6 months as a backend developer and another as an ML Engineer for 10 months, I am an excellent learner and know python, Machine Learning, deep learning, NLP, TensorFlow, django, javascript, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Go etc and I can also learn any other language or tool or framework easily, so if you have an open position or you are hiring then please consider me. If you can give referrals it will be also helpful. I am willing to send my resume in dm.

System Engineer

I am a software engineer with 11 months of experience. I have no interest in testing field and wanted to work in development roles from the start but my org forced me to work as an integration tester. Now I am planning to upskill and jump.
I have great interest in cloud field and believe that it is an emerging field, but I am told that AI/Gen AI is also very good field to go in.
Although l don't have any particular interest in AI and always thought that it is not easy to get good paying AI related jobs for beginners like me, I am ready to pursue, if told otherwise.
Please give me some advice/guidance as to which field I should choose as a fresher that has good learning and future scope and pays good.
Any advice/guidance is appreciated 🙂.

Hello everyone, I am an ML Engineer Intern and have been doing full time internship since past 1.5 years, will be completing one year in June at current company, so the thing is I will be graduating in 10 days and the company is still not talking about PPO, so what should I do now? I don't have another offer as I did not sit for on campus placement because no good companies were coming and I am earning more or approximately equal to most of the companies paying for full time in college.

Now I am a bit scared as I will be graduating and still don't have a full time offer, I am the guy in college where everyone used to tell that I will grab the highest package and here I am in this uncertainty whether I will get full time offer from current company or not. I have worked very hard, even worked late nights and even on weekends and still they are bot talking about PPO and I am applying off campus but there are not many openings for freshers or 2024 graduate even though I have more practical knowledge and skills, so what should I do now, continue as an intern till I get full time or what should I do? I know Python,  ML, DL, NLP, tensorflow, pytorch, django, javascript, GO, Docker, linux and I am a very good learner too. So if anyone of you can help then it will be good, I have posted before also on this platform but have not received any help, though got couple of referral but they were of other profile or required  more experience and hence got rejected without even an OA. So please refer me or give advice what should I do next?

2022 graduate here, working as a software engineer.
I feel that software engineering has less to do big in future compared to Ai/ML. Need your thoughts on what are my possibilities and pros cons on choosing different paths.

1. Stick to software engineer, will get promoted in some time and i can utilise some skills developed during this year and past internship. 

For next two paths, i will need to study as I don't know much about Ai/ML. Please suggest resources and way if you thing these could be good.

2. Switch teams in Google to some Ai/ML team.

3. Switch firm to some startup on Ai and can learn more things there. If this, then are companies out there how can will consider my this experience, i would want more pay than what i am earning as of now.

I am open to both internships and job offers.
