What salary can I expect with 7 YOE in Mainframes Tech with current CTC of 14.5 LPA(12 fixed).

Can Ai take product jobs? Been planning to switch to either PRODUCT or DATA SCIENCE roles in 5/6 months, but kinda skeptical as what path I should go ahead with. Also with the AI advancing everyday and some tech bros taking about AI taking jobs makes me wanna wonder about the path I should go ahead with.Any recommendations will help, thanks. Currently am a java developer with 1.4 YOE and kinda find it boring (maybe its the project)

I want to know what the prerequisites are for it. Do I need to learn coding C# or python for it?. Will Azure Open AI jobs have good packages and sustainable jobs for the next few years?. Hi I am 2024 passout CSE B.tech and I am unplaced, I am planning to take course in Hyd or Bangalore but confused to select which tech stack to learn. Please suggest me which course to take and get job immediately which is trending in 2024 and 2025

As a fresher in an IT company working as a backend developer, I am really confused with how to proceed ahead for growth in my career. I have two options : 1.Learn Frontend and be Full stack dev 2. Move to devops I need advice which would be more feasible and why. Keeping interests aside as of now since I would be new to both domains. Any new ideas or domains are also welcomed!

A lot of noise around AI taking coding jobs, which i fear might be real. Like not completely but you get my point. So how should one upskill themselves (especially the average folks, top 1/2% will not be affected in any field imo) for the upcoming shift? Like will data analytics/science or maybe ai/ml engineering jobs be on rise ? Should be start upskilling in those fields or any other suggestions? I would really like to know it from someone who has good experience in the industry or someone with good insight. Thanks

I've done my Btech in EC from NIT. Worked for 2Y as a dev in IT Services co. Then I did my MBA from one of the old IIMs. Got placed as a "Consultant" in one IT services co, where JD said the role is client facing and business centric. Have been working here for close to 2Y. Basically I'm part of an Agile project team, as another Dev/QA resource. I basically do QA for project releases and occasional SQL scripting. Tried internally to switch to a Project/BA role but this experience is hindering me. Outside it's even worse as I don't even get shortlisted. I believe I have good skills to excel in Product/BA/Project roles. But not getting them as I don't have any prior experience. My confidence is very low now and my career seems to go nowhere. The pay is also worse, 21.6LPA currently ( of which 17.6 is fixed). I'm not complaining and this money is a lot for most people. But it's not even close to what my juniors after 2 batches earn. The only upside in my job is no pressure and can work remotely most days. What should I do ? Shall I learn AI/ML and move to an Individual Contributor role ? How to get shortlisted for these after prep? Any advice or leads would be helpful, TIA.

I’m a college student and rather going for a full stack dev job, I wanted to prep for a AI dev job. But I’m thinking if there is any market for Ai devs considering the AI bubble is decreasing.
