I need some advice

I had an interview today for a cloud ops role. I really messed it up. I was able to answer the initial questions well, but as it progressed, it kept getting worse. I feel that if I had more time to prepare, I would have done better. The interview was scheduled on just a day's notice. I'm feeling very guilty. How should I overcome this?🙃

I started as a fresher at a big service-based company, faced a lot of politics, and was learning nothing. I realized I needed to leave it ASAP. I left it after 8 months, then was jobless for 2 months. After 2 months joined an early-stage startup, and was satisfied with my learning for a while, but in the backend team, there were only two people me and the CTO. And my dynamics with him didn't go very well. There was no culture as well, weekdays and weekends were the same. I was still fine with it but the guy (CTO) became very toxic and creepy. In 2 months, I started interviewing and I got into a mid-sized series B startup that had a good culture. I had to switch tech stack and it was more overwhelming than I thought initially. I tried to do good but I got laid off after working there for 10 months. All the way along I increased my package to a decent level. Now I feel super demotivated and underconfident and it's been 6 months since and I haven't taken up a job. With an increasing gap, I feel I have fucked up my career. In these 6 months, I have tried exploring different career options but haven't been able to crack any or have been indecisive and I feel I should just take up a job.

Hello grapeviners. I was recently interviewing at a big MNC and gave 5 rounds of interviews. (4 Tech, 1 Managerial). I did fairly well in the interviews (according to me). Got rejected in the end and received no feedback... Just a generic rejection mail. How do you guys keep up with failures like these? Whenever I give interviews at a good company and perform well, I tend to imagine myself as a future employee in that company and how my life would be after joining there... and it really breaks my heart when I get rejected. This happened to me few times before as well and I still have no idea how to move on from feelings like these. Really interested to know what do you folks do in situations like these... How do you calm yourself down?

Hey all, I feel so shit at the moment. I’ve failed 8-10 interviews so far, out of job since a year. It seems like every interview they ask a totally different set of questions or scenarios. Whatever I prepare gets me maybe 50-60% of the way, rest are all new questions and I fuck up or I’m not able to fully give them an answer. What makes me feel even worse is that, lot of people aren’t even getting calls at the moment and here I am speed-running every single opportunity to failure. I’m so done at the moment. No idea how to proceed or what to prep.

I am a senior software engineer with 6 + yoe mainly into backend (java and golang tech stack). I am currently serving my notice period with no offer in hand.(my last day is April 30) I have applied and given interviews to almost 12 companies and failed after clearing 2 or 3 rounds. I feel that I am losing confidence in my skills when I face such rejection even though I shouldn't. I feel like whatever answer I give during interviews is wrong and I constantly try to lookup the internet in the middle of interviews in fear of getting rejected. Even though I know things very well I try to validate it and then mug up whatever is written on the internet and whenever a new question is asked which I haven't seen earlier where I would be required to think , i blank out. This has never happened to me earlier.. I need some advice on how do I keep confidence in my skill and start solving things on my own.

So, I fucked up an interview real bad 2 days ago, and my mind is unable to process it and cannot forget about it. Don't know why I am feeling worthless from inside and feeling like this was my last interview. Maybe it's because of close to 40% hike I was getting on my fixed part. The results will be out by tomorrow and I am not gonna make it, I am pretty sure. I know life has something good in store for me and I am not seeing the future, almighty has seen it and he's simply driving me towards the path I am made for. But, how do I process it?

Hi guys, So I resigned from a unicorn recently because it was hell toxic and I was getting anxiety attacks. So I put in my papers, but the twist in the story is they curtailed my notice period. So now, I am jobless and feeling completely lost. Though interviews are in the pipeline but I didn’t get chance to prepare even during weekends due to excessive workload. Now, I got rejected in multiple companies . Also, I tried rescheduling a few interviews and the HRs got pissed off and said the position has already been filled (which is not true). So, now I am preparing but still feeling like a complete loser and losing confidence.

So I have been looking for projects in my company for around 2 months now. I gave 4-5 interviews and got rejected in L1 interviews in all for one or the other reason. Today, after so many days I got a chance to give client interview (happens after L1 interview...in case someone has no idea about it). It lasted 50 mins and I didn't perform well. After feeling down for about an hour, I'm not feeling well. I have observed myself that whenever I'm sad/down...I automatically gets better after few hours. I should be feeling sad for loosing the chance that I got after 2 months but I'm like ....it's alright 🙃 Is this some sort of healing mechanism that my brain has created for me or I'm not sincere or serious about my life??

It has been 25 days since I got laid off from the startup that I was working for. I have given a few interviews. Got rejected in 1st or 2nd rounds in a few, went till the last round n rejected in a couple and haven't heard back from the HR in a few. Not hearing back, unanswered calls, delays in rounds etc. cause a lot of anxiety and impacts my confidence and preparation levels. How do I tackle it? Also, unable to find fresh openings in product/ strategy roles for past few days. This also adds to pressure and uncertainty. In short, it is a very troubling phase. How do I deal with it? Need enormous help from all of you folks. Would love to hear some great thoughts / insights / hacks too.
