I see lot of folks at Relevel unacademy posting open to work on linkedin

Unacademy has just laid off the entire team of NextLevel and will be shutting the business. It is interesting to note that Relevel underwent a major pivot after failure and was rebranded to NextLevel. Gaurav apparently blindly wrote how this product will take on LinkedIn and make CV's redundant. Guess another unacademy experiment has failed but several employees are facing the brunt of the CEO's immature experimental nature.

Seeing multiple posts on the site saying that they have been impacted.

More than 600+ people have been laid off silently at Unacademy. This round is going to continue till 30th June. The mental harassment and pressure is off the charts. And the irony is that they are still hiring people from the outside while laying off current employees.

Is there anyone here working for Relevel...?🤔 Need help.

Unacademy to slash 25% of the workforce in another round of layoffs scheduled for the first week of January. The affected employees will not be paid severance pay because the company is struggling badly with the cash. 2024 is setting a sad start for the Edtech ecosystem .

Just got to know internally that Unacademy is planning another round of silent layoffs in October. No severance will be paid. Or any benefits.

Week back there were posts by linkedin engineers that linkedin is hiring SDEs and anyone can as referral and today they laid off 700 people. Like whats happening man!!! Is the company dumb or what?
