Recently gave an interview at Jupiter Money for Senior PM role: 

1. There is an exploratory call to judge the fit - experience, skill and culture wise. 

2. I was told there will be 3-4 rounds of interview and after that they will decide based on cumulative feedback of all the rounds 

3. My first 2 rounds were scheduled - product sense and product strategy rounds. 

4. First, The round got scheduled thrice. 

5. I finally did my product sense round and to me it was one of the the best case study interview I gave. To the proof I also have complete documentation of the live case study I solved and also showed that to few senior product leaders in the industry. They also validated that that it was really well solved. 

6. Next day I was told my round didn’t go as well and they are even cancelling the other rounds. There was no precise feedback which is anyway not expected. I communicated that according to the process I was told that all the rounds would happen and then a decision would be taken. 

7. They ridiculed that. To me it was the case of strong personal bias where interviewer preferred other candidates because of his alumni or for other reasons or strongly did not like me. To avoid personal biases usually organisations do parallel rounds at senior level and take a decision based on cumulative feedback. 

In hindsight, it’s good it didn’t happen. Better to join a merit based organisation then biased and politics led.

Interview Experience at Jupiter Money

Don’t even think about it. The product team is in a really bad place, Rathi was fired, the people he hired after moving in to make his mark have moved on including dunzo pari. Good riddance I would say. Moreover, it’s follow the leadership train in Jupiter so don’t even think about going there at least for a couple of years.

Engagement profiteering and sympathy farming off someone's passing away is just pathetic and shameful.

They will stoop to any level if it gets them a few hundred likes and increases conversion to their actual business.

Stop gathering sympathy using the poor fellow please!

I noticed a trend on LinkedIn that people use the layoffs as an excuse to preach others that if you constantly upskill and learn then you will be safe from layoffs. 

To any freshers who believe in this crap listen this - The folks who got laid off from companies are not in any way underskilled. I've seen my colleagues get laid off at my previous company who were extremely talented and responsible for building products from scratch. 

These companies layoff people randomly and not skill based. They choose the people who are drawing more salary (often the most skilled) and fire them in the name of cost cutting. So, how does upskilling will help this situation?

Note that, the current tech market is unstable and will continue to be for next few years. Upskilling may get you up the corporate ladder but it won't in anyway save you from impending layoffs. The so-called influencers preaching this should STOP.

NOTICE this post, how this guy conveniently skipped mentioning Google layoffs in the list, since he currently works ar Google 😆

I swear dude, the subtle condescension is so annoying. "Don't be in your comfort zone" and shit - as if (most) people aren't already trying their best to stay up to date and keep their skills sharp. Sounds like classic victim blaming, if you ask me.

Hi all, recently saw glimpse of one youtube video / podcast of Siwet tomar in black shirt where he said 9-5 vale 50-60 hazar kamate hai aur hum ek reel ke 1.5 lakh , i think they should now pick up their brains before saying this or putting it on apps , firstly , he is no one to comment and secondly if we people won't be working in backend , ban jata influencer aur kar pata post . 😊 I don't know why we are seen in this way , anyone with good skills is earning much more than quoted, I asked my delivery boy today , he said that he is getting paid 9k every week and 500 he makes daily from uber , so min he earns 51k per mnth

Few weeks watched a reel from a famous influencer about this app where he shared the benefits one can gain from it and i did download the app and tried to open it and yet the app didn’t open even after my multiple tries so I uninstalled the app. 

Today, i did try to install it once again as i had to do my mobile phone recharge. 
I added the money to the wallet (3k) and then went on to do the recharge.
My recharge wasn’t successful and yet the money got deducted from the wallet. 
I have lost my 3k.

I did complain about it and still there is no response from their end. 
I even tried to call the helpline number and yet no response. 

Can anyone help me what to do now in such cases?
Can i get my hard earned money back?

Please share your knowledge and help me with it.

I have lately realised that many people have fallen for this scam and have lost their money. 

I don’t know how come PlayStore still allow such apps to run such scams.

Most of the people just keep adding so many irrelevant pictures to their posts!! I mean what do they get out of it. If it’s anything to do with regards to the picture, I understand. Other than that, it has become a trend to add photos to the posts. They say they will have greater reach and greater views. It’s so annoying.  Just like Vauld, Marikoo turns out to be the biggest sell out of all time yet again. With Fraud Shamani and Chetan Bro-goat following him, they promoted a scam Startup Conference in Noida stating you can raise funding there, that too within 3 days.

Turns out you have to pay 💰 a boatload of cash to get into the conference. Now it turns out to be a scam when the organisers fled away with the money.

It’s a pity that people follow these charlatans who masquerade as superior beings while their true character is revealed in moments like this..
