Is APM still the best way to break in?

Hi, I'm a Marketing Analyst at a tech startup currently. I have a previous experience of working as a Demand Analyst (gauging demand of products through data analysis and market research), 4 years of experience in starting my own business (non-tech) which didn't work, and over a year of experience in my current job (learnt PM skills like wireframing, and user research). Current organization has no Product team. I've been trying to get an APM role for a while now but to no success as most want Product experience or an Engineering degree. Would it be advisable to keep at it for an APM role or get a business analyst job and look to become a PM later? Do companies hire for PMs without a solid Product background and an engineering degree?

Hi everyone, I'll cut right to the chase I have had 6 months of experience as a product intern and I'm trying to get into an APM role for the past 3 months. I have not been able to get any interviews or calls for an APM role. The only calls I get are for product intern roles. Is 6 months of experience not enough to move into a full time role??? I've done my engineering, completed my MBA from a tier 1 institute yet I'm not being considered as a qualified candidate. The past 3 months have really taken a toll on my mental health and everyday feels like a burden. I would really appreciate if you all could guide me on what to do because I have no clue where I'm going.

I'm a SDET with 2 years of experience and for an opportunity to work as APM. How should I proceed to land my first product role?

I've been working as an APM at a startup for about 6 months. I kinda fell into the role. Was a developer previously for about a year. So in total about 2 years of industry experience. As an APM, I've not gotten a lot of opportunities to work on hands on PM stuff. My line manager isn't a great mentor and despite having conversations with him to give me more product related tasks, my situation has not improved. What should I do? Will I be able to land another APM or a PM job elsewhere?

I am getting into my second yr of MBA I did an internship in the area of market research and have skilled in power Bi, Excel, google analytics...have a good research mind and analytical thinking ability But I don't know coding i can't say my coding skill is bad becuz I don't know or don't have that skill. How can I become prodman don't have any other work experience i am a fresher

I have worked for a year as an APM in a FinTech B2B SaaS company but have not had any senior mentorship so have no idea what is expected of an APM during interviews.
